Guests can try their luck at the hotel's 5,000-square-foot Emerald Casino. Decorated with a huge crystal chandelier and mirrored walls, the casino opens for slot machines in late morning; blackjack, Caribbean stud poker, roulette, and craps tables open from early afternoon to closing at 3:30 AM.
The Curacao Marriott Resort Health Club offers cardio and strength-training machines, and free weights. Guests can unwind in the saunas, steam rooms, and spa tubs, or enjoy spa services at the Health Club, such as massages (including massages on the beach), reflexology, manicures and pedicures, aromatherapy, body wraps, scrubs, facials, and waxing. A beauty salon offers hair and nail care. A shopping center shuttle can take guests to sell beachwear, gifts, specialty foods, wine, and beer.

Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino offers 247 extra-large guestrooms in a three-story building that forms three U-shaped courtyards facing the ocean. The building is in Dutch-Colonial style, with a yellow exterior and a red tile roof. Rooms have patio or balconies.
Ivory-colored room furniture includes a desk, table, and upholstered chair. Sheer white drapes, gold-and-red carpeting, yellow walls, and a powder-blue accent wall create a contemporary-tropical look. Beds include pillowtop mattresses, down blankets and Egyptian-cotton sheets. Amenities include high-speed Internet access (surcharge), 37-inch flat screen TV, premium channels, in-room safe and compact refrigerators. Guests may have views of the ocean, pool, courtyard, or pool.

Seabreeze Beach Bar & Grill - Open-air spot with swim-up bar. Seating in sunken plaza and on wood deck overlooking sea. Lunch choices include seafood gumbo, burgers, salads, barbecue ribs. Dinner choices highlight conch salad, barbecue-chicken salad, red snapper with garlic sauce, curried chicken, and rum-marinated swordfish.
Portofino - Air-conditioned restaurant and open-air terrace illuminated by tiny lights strung around tree trunks. Italian cuisine, including antipasti, pasta, grilled specialties, pizza. Open for dinner nightly and brunch on Sundays. Reservations required.
Voilà Delicatessen - Open from early morning until after midnight for espresso, desserts, salads, sandwiches, and pizza. Wine, beer, beverages, and specialty foods are also available.
Emerald Lounge - Contemporary air-conditioned cocktail lounge with plasma televisions, wood dance floor, flashing lights. DJ and live music on certain nights.
The Board Room Beach Bar - Pub overlooking the ocean. It serves lunch, dinner, and cocktails on the bar swings.
Recreation
Curacao Marriott Beach Resort & Emerald Casino's 400-yard oceanfront offers 300 yards of sand furnished with thatched shades and sun loungers/chaise longues. A watersports and dive center rents kayaks, personal watercraft, and small sailboats; provides beginner's and certification diving instruction; and conducts reef, wreck, wall, and night dives. Snorkeling trips, wakeboarding, and water skiing are also available. Boating, kayaking, scuba diving, parasailing, wind surfing, and golf lessons are available nearby. Nearby activities also include boat launching and helicopter/airplane sightseeings. Complimentary introductory scuba-diving demonstrations are provided in the pool.
A central sea-view courtyard has a large freeform pool and children's pool. The resort's other two sea-view courtyards contain cross-shaped, 20-person spa tubs. The pool remains open to 11 PM; spa tubs can be used around the clock. On certain days, water aerobics classes are held in the pool.

“Espensive but worth the money”
We went here for our Honeymoon and really enjoyed the hotel. The place is very natural and relaxed, the beach is beautiful and good for swimming or snorkeling, the pool and Jacuzzis very nice, and the food is excellent. Very good option if you want comfort and a relaxed time.
“Best Place to Stay in Curacao”
The Marriott Curacao is the only 5 star resort on the island and in our estimation the ONLY place to stay. It has a beautiful open air lobby, a large, lovely pool area overlooking the ocean and beachfront with a dive shop that rents snorkel and scuba gear. The rooms are colorfully decorated in blues, golds and reds with nice linens. Our breakfast and dinner buffet (Caribbean and Italian) experiences were good - although a little costly. Probably the most notable of all was the service. From the front-desk to food service, everyone we encountered was extremely helpful and friendly. So much so, we sent a letter to Marriott HQ letting them how impressed we were with the resort.
“Our All-Time Favorite Resort”
This hotel is beautiful. The management and staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. We ate in three of the restaurants - all were excellent. The pool and bar areas are very inviting with many lounge chairs and umbrellas. The beach area is not huge, but it is more than adequate. My husband went snorkeling every day and saw many interesting things right off the beach. Although we had a car and traveled around the island, we found that we couldn't wait to return to the hotel each day. In fact, we spent 3 full days relaxing around the pool - very unusual for us. One last note - the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and in excellent condition.

“Curacao's Best Hotel - can't wait to go back!!!!!!”
The hotel was gorgeous. The staff helped out when ever needed. Couldn't have been any nicer. Beds were very comfortable.My kids want to live there. Loved snorkeling, never did it till now. Wow great! Very hot, but with all the great warm water from the ocean to the pools it was great.The rooms were comfortable with the air conditioning and wow great views. Can't wait to go back.
“Great place for a honeymoon!”
We went to Curacao for our honeymoon and we couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay. We had an ocean view room and then upgraded to a beachfront room. The view was absolutely incredible. We were 100 feet from the water. The room was nicely styled and rather spacious. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. The beaches and water were amazing. We liked the service and food at the Seabreeze and Emerald Lounge. The breakfast offered at Portofino's has a lot of variety. You can also order something from the menu if you don't want to do the buffet. All in all, this is a great place to stay - the open air lobby is breath-taking.
“Birthday Celebration in Curacao”
I planned this trip as a surprise birthday celebration for my boyfriend's 50th birthday. It was our first time to the island and we hope to go back again someday. The resort at the Marriott Emerald Beach was beautiful. The lobby is open to the outside with fountains and fans and plenty of seating areas. We enjoyed the swim up bar in the afternoons. There were plenty of chairs a the pool and beach with palapas for shade. Great snorkeling right off of the hotel beach. We visited several other beaches on the island too. What I liked about the Marriott beach was that it was shallow, so it was easy to be close to the coral and the fish. The staff was very friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the room was a little musty, but all of the pros outweighed that.
“Highly recommend”
We loved the Marriott. The open air lobby and beautiful scenic ocean was breathtaking. I highly recommend this hotel. The beach was great and the snorkeling right on the shore line was wonderful. Sunday beach bar-b-q a bit disorganized and slow but who cares we were on island time. There is still smoking in the casino so that was a bit overwhelming but the tables were hosted by great locals that were very friendly.
“Great Hotel Although...”
Mariott Hotel was amazing. The reception and the entrance is luxurious. The room cost was at a reasonable price. The rooms were very clean and pretty. My family enjoyed the jacuzzi and the beach that was a couple steps away from the balcony of our room. The only complain about this hotel and mostly of Curacao is that even even though the US Dollar is currently equivalent to 1.75 florins (Nafl) the food is very expensive. Hot breakfast buffet, which includes egg tortilla, was $25 per person. (However, the price may change when you go there). We reasoned that my egg tortilla contained gold pebbles and that was why it was very expensive. But when we asked, It was disappointing that it did not contain gold pebbles. So, we went to the Central Supermarket that was near and bought sandwiches and some groceries and prepared our own food. We did tourism on our own. Just rented a car and a map. I have to say that this hotel is 5 stars!!! It was awesome!
“Best Trip Ever”
We visited the Marriot for my sister's birthday and upon our early arrival the staff at the Marriot worked hard to get our room ready 4 hours before expected, we were so grateful, it granted us extra time in our day for exploring the grounds and relaxing. Luv Curacao and the Marriot...Top Class service, Staff always helpful, polite and genuinely concern about your experience......... Will have to go back..I miss it!!!!!!!!!
