“Always enjoy my time there.”
This is a really good place to stay , the rooms are clean and comfortable , there are amenities such as an exercise room, and a laundry room. The rooms have a refrigerator , stove, microwave ,also provided dishes, silverware and pots to cook in . Continental breakfast everyday, and friendly service always . It is my home away from home any time I have to stay in town this is where I stay.
“Great value for the cost”
We stayed at the Homestead Studio Suites in Richardson three times during our relocation to Richardson, each time for a week or longer. Make no mistake; this is not a luxury hotel. But, for the cost it is an excellent value. The suites (an efficiency in our case) were clean and comfortable, maintenance was good, and the staff was friendly and helpful.
“Will go back.”
Since there is a high turn over in rooms, be sure to check your room for cleanliness. We did and found it had not been cleaned. However, we called the desk and immediately, the room was cleaned. My only complaint is that even when you ask for a non-smoking suite, you can be booked on a smoking floor without being told.

The hotel is conveniently located. Nice and comfortable room.

“Entire hotel reeks of Stale Cigarettes”
Besided the fact that the rooms and hallways reek of stale smoke, the "High Speed" internet service was like using dial up!
“Not a keeper”
I had to spend one night, from 8pm on and since the hotel was conveniently located and had a special price, I took it. It was clean. Bath area was very clean and shower was good. That's about all I can say. Needs upgrading desperately! Chairs in my room were old and stained, walls were scarred, TV was old and remote buttons hard to press. No free wifi. Staff was very nice and attentive, lobby area pretty. Worked out for me the one night, but wouldn't stay for an extended length of time or recommend it until remodeled.
“Its Alright”
Nothing fancy, staff was mostly friendly, they only vacuumed once a week for long stay rentals, only one pot and pan in the room. At least the AC worked.

My room was on the second floor. There is no elevator, so pack light. My desk lamp did not work, so bring a light. It took two days to get the light replaced. The linoleum floor in the kitchen area was peeling up in the corners. There was a wad of gum on the carpet between the bed and night stand. The TV would fly by two channels every time I pressed up or down on the remote. The deadbolt to the room would not set. I was only able to use the flip lever to secure my door. The toliet ran all day and night. When I brought a few of these items to the attention of the front desk, I was told the maintenance man had an emergency and would not be back during my 4-day stay.
“Dirty and in disrepair”
This is the worst property I have ever booked through Expedia. I called Expedia C/S minutes after arriving and found the person on the phone very helpful. They spoke with hotel management, while I was on the phone, regarding the condition of the room and my dissatisfaction. (I was able to write in the dust on the nightstand, there was trash on the floor in corner and the TV picture was orange.) The evening mgr. was very apologetic and moved me to another larger room. This rooms security latch was broken off and the door damaged, three of the five lights in the bath were burned out and someone had disarmed the smoke detector and had been smoking in the room. I agreed to stay in this room given that the door would be fixed the next day, it wasn't... Avoid this dump if you can!
