"The Copacabana Arena is a beautiful property, I would highly recommend getting the suite. The stunning views were fabulous to wake up to go to sleep to every night. The front desk staff was especially attentive annd spoke perfect English. The room attendance did a wonderful job cleaning the rooms and keeping us in towels and other items. "The hotel is in an excellent position, right on Copacabana beach. It has a very old fashioned feel about it and could definitely do with a spruce up. The room felt dark but everything worked and it was perfectly acceptable. The breakfast choice was good and so was the service. The provision of beach towels was a bonus. The pool is very small. "Location is amazing. Stayed here in 2016 twice and really loved it. On my most recent stay in April 2024, I found the front desk staff to be very nice as well as the breakfast staff. The room was good enough. However, the bed is super soft, like a marshmallow, not comfy or cozy at all. The bathroom and plumbing needs to be adressed. Some nights the smell coming from the plumbing was so strong and foul. Lastly, they have a major mold issue that they dont seem to be addressing, so if that is...
