"My husband and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. The breakfast was phenomenal and the room was exceptional, we had an amazing view. Some of the reception staff was not accommodating to our late check-out request, we had to wait in the lobby for three hours before going to the airport. The hotel is only a 30 min ride by bus to the old town, the bus station is right outside the hotel. The area around the hotel is not too bad however there are not alot of options for dining. The beach is only few minutes away which made this stay great."

"I have stayed here several times. It is central and with large rooms. It is not new but modern. Everythibg works. It is often crowded. The breakfast is medium standard. "

"I have stayed at the Esplanade several times over the years. It changes little but always seems fresh. I noticed they have dropped the door keys with the large tassels for tap keys. Shame but it will not stop me stayong again! This is a top European elegance hotel. Rooms are large. I was recognised and upgraded. It has a lovely terrace and memorablr breakfast. I look forward to my next stay. "
