"The receptionist was lovely and welcoming. The room itself was very nice and the beds were very comfortable! The only 'complaint' would be the cleanliness of the bathroom whih was not good (mould on the vents etc.) Overall, the stay was very nice. "

"Stayed in a converted container, boys loved bunk beds, shower was a bit hot. There was evening entertainment in the club house - toasting marshmallows etc. Reasonably priced - would stay again."

"It was absolutely fantastic, enjoyed the spa too. Clean room, polite staff and amazing location, green goodness everywhere and a nice garden. Only downside is that they only had complimentary cookies on Friday at the reception. 😇"

"The only comment I'd make is that I couldn't access the hotel info on the TV (I looked but could not find it) - I wanted to call reception as I'd forgotten my toothbrush but did not know which number to dial on the phone. The TV remote control was not v responsive either"

"your charge of £7 per day for internet is unnacceptable.I do not use Travel lodge as they charge £3 your charge means that I will not return although I enjoyed everything else. I visit Buxton often as I am a committed walker Sorry"

"Extremely nice modern hotel with excellent staff. Hotel is in great condition and our room was spotless and comfortable. Breakfast was good but the restaurant was very busy by 9am on Sunday morning. Had to queue for 5/10 minutes for a table and unfortunately it was right next to the kitchen and food counter so not as peaceful as the rest of our stay. Would recommend this hotel "
