"The Plaka Hotel is right in the middle of all the hot spots north of the Acropolis. There is tons of ruins to see, museums, and restaurants. The area is even active after night, so you will hear music but it dies down after about 11 pm. The rooms are fairly small and you can hear your neighbors easily. Just a typical small European hotel in the heart of the Plaka district of Athens. I enjoyed my stay. "

"One thing I can say is if you are scared of heights don’t stay here your on top of a mountain. One of the best views in the whole island for the sunset. The place is clean. Rooms are different. Doesn’t have a door to the bathroom. You have privacy but you can hear everything. So if it’s your first time going away with someone wouldn’t recommend. "

"This was a fantastic choice for proximity to everything. We were able to walk to the Acropolis, National Archeological Museum, Ancient Agora and the streets of Plaka. The staff has been very friendly and helpful and the rooftop bar has a great view of the Acropolis. The only issue we had was with our bathroom door. It wouldn’t close or open easily so it was loud when try to get it to shut. We were able to store our luggage after check out for a bit before catching our train to the airport. The...

"Very pleasant hotel with a fantastic location. Very close to the Plaka and Acropolis and next to the Temple of Zeus. Rooftop bar and restaurant has great views of the city and you will have breakfast there. Only criticism is that the bedrooms are a bit faded. Communal areas are sparking. "

"Nice hotel with professional, friendly, hospitable staff near Acropolis, its Museum, dining choices, and walkable to almost everything touristy. They were sending complementary wine in my room. I respectfully declined since I don’t drink alcohol. They suggested a fruit plate instead. I will be back."
