Very good hotel near the old city center. Very nice and helpful service by the staff. Good buffet breakfast.

The staff makes you "authenticaly" to feel at home... the location is great, walking distance to restaurants, bars, galeries, museums, touristic and non touristic spots and of course the commercial center next to it where you can find anything.

“Excellent location, lovely staff and the best hotel pillows ever!”
The Mercure is an excellent choice for a visit to Wroclaw. The location is ideal - only 5 mins from the main square. We booked a superior room and had a view of the main road but double glazing ensured we didn't hear a thing. The staff were fabulous and very helpful. The highlight for us were the pillows - massive and bouncy. We usually have to ask for extra pillows but no need here! The TV had two english speaking channels - CNN and BBC World News which made two news junkies very happy indeed. I would recommend this hotel (and Wroclaw) to all kinds of travellers. We will certainly return.
“Value for money”
If you want the comfort of a spacious air conditioned room after your day in the hot sun, then you are in the right hotel. Large double bed, separate couch, fridge and Sky TV channels make the end of the day feel like your at home. All staff speak excellent English, but don't buy your food or drinks from here. Much better choices in the many bars located nearby.

“Great hotel, great location”
We wanted to be near the old town and within reasonable walking distance from the railway station and this hotel met both criteria. The bonus was it was also next door to a big shopping mall! A big room, comfortable bed, breakfast wasn't included but with the mall next door this wasn't a problem. Electric jug, coffee and tea supplied which was good as the coffee downstairs in the lobby was very expensive. Unfortunately the wifi would not work in our room but worked fine in the lobby. The hotel has 2 computers, one with a printer, both free of charge. Reception was very helpful, looked up our train time for us, printed out the list of stations to our next destination. The old town was around 5 minutes walk away and well worth our visit.
