“Exceptional care”

The staff were very friendly and accomodating. They offered to fix more coffee and asked if we needed anything more. I forgot my travel pillow and called them when I got home. They said they will mail it to me and I should get it in a few days. I thought that was exceptional. I have fogotten things in hotels before and they said they would mail it to me, but never did. I won't stay at their hotel again, but I will stay at super 8 when ever possible.

“Super 8 very smoky rooms”

The room was a non smoking room however we could smell the smoke from the neighboring rooms.

“Modest motel in Duluth”

Satisfactory overall, with some room for improvement. Modestly priced. Front desk staff very helpful. Room clean, except that used filter pack had been left in coffee maker. TV channels did not match perfectly either the guide channel or the printed list. Printer in lobby was not working Sunday evening (I was told it needed ink) and was still not working when I checked out Tuesday morning. Very quiet and peaceful, but some technical aspects could be better.

“Fine”

It was what I expected for Super 8. It's a lower budget place but satisfactory for a one-night stay or whatever. My light in the entryway (inside the room) was burned out and I reported it only upon check-out. My TV was a little old and the picture not great, but otherwise things were fine.

“All-Around motel for everyone”

Clean room, plenty of towels, good color tv, plenty of room for suitcases and hang clothes. Hot water right away in the morning shower.

“Can't complain”

Booked this hotel knowing it would be cheap. It isn't the best hotel I've been to but isn't the worst either. Decent, inexpensive hotel.

“Satisfactory”

Satisfactory. We were comfortable and well rested the next morning. Rates were reasonable - no pool on site however.

“A good place for families.”

The hotel was O.K. as we only needed a place to sleep. The staff was nice and friendly and the room was semi-clean - I am a stickler for clean- and we enjoyed our stay .

“A Place to Sleep”

This is not the hotel's fault, the construction made it hard to find at first and since their was nothing listed on their website that this was happening, I did not think to ask for alternate directions. When we got their our room was ready, but the lady behind the desk would not even stand up to greet us and sat the whole time. Their is no elevator so if you have alot of stuff see if you can get a 1st floor room. Also if you are wanting a pool their is not one at this hotel. The Super Start Breakfast is not the same as with other super 8's we have been to. Their is no saugae or eggs or even waffles to heat up as in other places, so if you want that for breakfast they are right next to a Perkins that can help you out. The one bright spot was the delivery options Hugo's. We Ordered from their and it was Delicious. Also I don't want to forget the Housekeeping Department is amazing, everything was clean, clean, clean. If I just wanted a place to lie my head for the night that alone would make me come back!

“Not Downtown-- 15 min away”

While it was an ok place to lay your head and the staff was friendly, not the most impressive. It's 15 minutes to get from the hotel to the actual downtown and kind of off the beaten path. The breakfast was ok and the price lower than other hotels in Duluth. I would probably stay again if passing through Duluth to another destination, as it is very easy to get to the interstate from there, but if I'm going for anything downtown I'd probably pick another place.
