“Great All-Rounder”
Family run hotel 10 minutes walk from the Main Railway Station and 15 minutes walk to the Old Town. Trams and busses only 2 minutes away on Graf-Adolf Strasse. Clean comfortable rooms with Sat TV and also with balconies if at the rear of the hotel. Pleasant bright breakfast room with usual German self-service breakfast of cereals, cold meats and cheeses. Looks out onto Oststrasse. I brought friends who were likewise impressed by the hotel and its value for money.
“Great Value”
Ideal central location with shops/restaurants all in immediate vicinity.Railway Station only 5 mins walk away.Hotel provide a free travel pass for buses/trams/underground/trains valid within the city limits-brilliant-saved a fortune. Hotel basic but immaculate,very good breakfast,all staff very friendly&helpfull. Terrific all-round value for money.
“Above Expectations”
A surprisingly great choice. It had new owners (3 months) and there was a bit of disorder on my arrival, but they were friendly and appologetic and had me sorted in an extra 5 minutes. This Hotel was recenly pained and carpeted on the inside, and my room was very modern and comfortable. I liked the large sun Deck that overlooked the quiet inner court of surrounding buildings. Also the breakfast of meats, cheeses, coffee, juice, yougourt plus breads and cereals was a great bargain - unmatched in town for just 4 euro - give it a try. All in all I was pleasantly surprised by this choice and it is better then a 2 star - enjoy.

the hotel is compact clean and 15 minutes from the main shopping area of the town, if your looking for 5 star this is not for you if your looking for an ideal base close to the town centre then you wont be dissapionted only thing missing is a late night bar for that one for the road
“Good location, good value”
The single room I stayed in was spacious, clean and comfortable. There was however no safe or minibar in the room. Hotel is within a 8 minute walk of the old town, and 1 block from the KO, or main shopping street. Breakfast service was good. Can't be beat for the price.
“Rheingold Hotel”
Have stayed before and very happy with this hotel but now restricted opening days and no breakfast available. A shame really as it is usually perfect for my needs. A&O hseste/hotel nearby a suitable substitute.
“OK”
Service was highly dependent on the time of day and who was working the front desk. In the evening there was nobody at the front desk for quite awhile and several guests including me were locked out.
