That style extends into the library, which contains board games, a pool table, a big-screen TV, and book-filled shelves. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in the lobby, which also contains a computer with high-speed Internet access (surcharge).

“This side of paradise”
Owners, management, house staff, wait staff far exceeded expectations Cuisine over the top Beach best in Bahamas I will return I will stay in cottage next time
“Coral sands thumbs up”
We toured all the hotels on Harbour island and if we went back, we would stay at coral sands again. It has the best set- up overall.
“Amazing Island getaway”
Wonderful hotel and the beach was aamzing. The staff was excellent and did their best to meet any of your needs.
“Great little resort”
We just got back from a week at the Coral Sands, and absolutely loved it! It was just our kind of place, not too big, gorgeous, very comfortable, and understated chic. We had a junior suite in the Lucaya building, which was spacious, cool and the bed was comfy. Most nights we left the sliders open and fell asleep listening to the waves. The bathrooms are not luxury but fine. The whole place is exactly as pictured on their website, simple and elegant! Beach is truly the most beautiful I've ever seen, and the pool was very nice too - love the lounges by the pool and on the terrace. We found the staff to be just right. The people (like most people!) are very friendly if you're friendly to them, but they're not in your face constantly. You already know that the island and beach are amazing if you're considering staying here. For restaurants, we found the Landing, Harbour Lounge and Sip Sip to be far and away the best food & atmosphere. Rock House was exquisite but I thought the food was not that great (especially for the price!) Angela's Starfish was just scary but Avery's was very good for casual Bahamian food. We didn't get to Ma Ruby's. Breakfast and lunch at Coral Sands were very good, dinner is just ok but a romantic atmosphere. About what you expect when you're in the islands, but the three great places mentioned above were much much better than what you'd expect. We are definitely going back!
“So fantastic”
My husband and I stayed at this hotel and were married on the pink sand beach in front of the hotel in December. It was amazing. Our room was upgraded and quite large with two bathrooms and a view of the beautiful turquiose ocean. Breakfast, lunch and dinner options at the hotel were all great, service was good - they even bring drinks to you down on the beach. There is free internet in the lobby and bottled water is brought every evening as part of the turndown service. I didn't want to leave here - we can't wait to go back.
“Relaxation - Coral Sands the place to be!!”
Let me first say that if you are looking for a resort with lots of activities, active night life with the Four Seasons or Ritz luxury - Coral Sands is not for you. But, if you are looking for a get-a-way to relax away from the crowds in an awesome location - this is the place!! IT IS WELL WORTH THE PRICE. My husband and I spent 5 nighs at the Coral Sands to celebrate our 25th anniv. Upon arrival we were greeted warmly, offered a cool drink and escorted to our room by one of the front desk staff. Our room was just as described from the web site and very comfortable. The resort is decorated in a very nice in a British Colonial beach vibe. We chose it for the beautiful location and beach. Ahhhhh, the beach!! It is absolutly beautiful with pink sand! The water has so many colors of blue it would be difficult to describe. We loved the fact that ther are NO condos or highrises to be seen. We walked the entire beach side of the island. The only beachfront structures were private homes or resort beach bars/restaurants. We loved the Coral Sands beach bar and beach service. The staff was very friendly and accomodating - checking in with us several times during our stay on the beach. The grounds of the Coral Sands are beautiful and well maintianed. The pool area is stunning. Although we didn't spend any time at the pool. We dined twice at the Coral Sands in main restaurant - the food was wonderful. The chef's preparations will not disappoint. We will go back to Coral Sands - can't wait.
“Would definately go back”
Wonderful lush surroundings Comfortable and simple elegance Hotel staff is very welcoming, friendly and accomodating No hassle with any changes due to unexpected situations or circumstances Easy access to the beach Short walking distances to main part of town or by golf cart Staff is eager and willing to make arrangements for local needs or attractions Relaxed and laid back atmosphere
“Beyond Expectations. Stunning grounds, wonderful staff, absolutely spectacular!”
What a lovely vacation! The Coral Sands was beyond expectations! The hotel captures true elegance in a traditional Bahamian manner.
“Lovely hotel in a fantastic location”
May 2006 -- My husband and I enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing 5 day/4 night "Getaway Weekend" at the Coral Sands in Harbour Island, Bahamas. The hotel is small by U.S. standards (55 rooms), but relatively large in comparison to other Harbour Island properties. The location is ideal, situated above a wide stretch of the "Pink Sands" beach. A hotel owner greeted us on arrival, and every one of the plentiful staff was courteous and helpful. We stayed in a Junior Suite, which was quite nice and spacious. The bedding is sumptuous, though the towels were not. Oh well, can't have everything. The balcony in our end unit was small, but the sweeping view more than made up for that. The hotel features a nice pool, lovely landscaping, and a spectacular beach. The beach sand is amazingly soft, and slightly pink. This is an older hotel, and its age shows in minor ways, but overall it is well maintained and quite charming. The hotel's restaurant is pricey, but of top quality. Overall we were very impressed with the Coral Sands, as well as Harbour Island overall as a vacation destination. We hope to become repeat customers someday...
“Quite and relaxing”
Were there 5 days. Stayed in oceanview Jr.suite. Room was updated and nice. The grounds are well kept, clean and roosters run free. Beach is beautiful. Sand feels like powder sugar. Ate at both restaunts, very good. It is nice how the resort blends with the out doors. A place for couples. Pack light.
