“Thoroughly enjoyed our stay”
We loved our 3 night stay at the Balbernie House! From the moment you arrive, there is an authenticity that i can't describe. It was not stuffy or pretentious, but extremely pleasant and comfortable. The staff was attentive and pleasant and the food was amazing. Our suite was the size of an apartment. Our kids stayed in a standard room and it was generously sized as well. We especially enjoyed our dinners at its main restaurant. The service was outstanding and unique. We'd stay there again. Excellent value.
“Absolutely wonderful!”
Beautiful grounds surround the hotel. The staff are all very polite and warmly anxious to be of service. All of the staff are friendly. The hotel has a homey feel. The rooms are large, comfy and clean. The bathroom is large with a great shower and large claw foot tub. We had beautiful grounds outside our windows. One night there was a wedding in the gardens just below our window, we didn't hear a thing.They have two restaurants, one more formal and the other casual, both with great food. A very nice breakfast is served in the more formal restaurant where a wall of windows open the room to the beautiful grounds. Loved it! Most definitely would stay there again, hope to be able to return soon.

“Nice hotel excellent restaurant”
Large bedrooms unfortunately they do not supply bottled water in the rooms and we only managed to get bathrobes after asking for them twice.Restaurant is excellent but make sure of its opening hours.When we stayed it was closed on Monday and Tuesday.
