“Can't wait to go back”
Don't be put of when your taxi turns down a dirt road, the best is yet to come. You'll find the hotel clean, simple and pleasant. The staff are like your family and treat you as such. They are the friendliest, cheerfullest(?)and helpful people you could hope to meet. Ellie and John are perfect hosts, joining guests at the bar for a chat and a drink. Food prices are reasonable and helpings very generous, if a little slow in coming, but hey, its on Fiji time. Very restful and peaceful holiday, close to Nadi and other interesting places such as the Valley of the Sleeping Giant. Definitely reccommend.
“CUTE-CUMFFY-AND ON THE BEACH!!!! TOTALY IMPRESSED!!”
FIRST OFF- THE ROAD TO GET TO THE RESORT IS BUMPY- BUT IT'S WORTH IT. BUT IT LEADS TO THE BEACH SO IT MORE THAN MAKES UP FOR THE BUMPS! THE CHECK IN WAS EASY AND WE WERE HELP RIGHT AWAY (STAFF MORE THAN EAGER TO HELP) OUR ROOM WAS GREAT. IT WAS COZY (AND WHEN I SAY COZY-I DONT MEAN SMALL) IT WAS STEPS TO THE WATER AND HAD BOTH A/C AND A CEILING FAN. THERE'S EVEN AN INSECT REPELANT VAPORIZOR IN EACH ROOM! (BESIDES THE MOSQUITO NET) WE WERE FORTUNATE TO HAVE OUR STAY COINSIDE WITH THE OWNER "ELLIE"'S VISIT AND SHE WAS GREAT. VERY SERVICABLE AND EAGER TO MAKE YOUR STAY 100% PARADISE. WE LOVED IT AND ARE EAGER TO GO BACK AGAIN. THE BAR WAS GREAT, PERFECTLY SITUATED AND ALL 3 BARTENDERS ARE THE FRIENDLIEST PEOPLE EVER..ASK FOR COOKIE!! WE BOOKED THRU EXPEDIA AND BELIVE ME- WELL WORTH THE PRICE, WHICH WAS NOT TOO MUCH. ALL IN ALL, IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIANCE FROM DAY 1.
“The Wonderful Club Fiji!”
We stayed at Club Fiji for a week and loved it. Was perfect for us with small children. Lots of lovely grass to run around on, the beach was great at low tide with lots of small pools that heated in the sun and the staff were magic! We were able to have dinner delivered to our room, and we sat outside on our terrace/balcony (BYO duty free - MUCH cheaper!) while the children slept. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Babysitting servies are available is you want.
“the best hoilday”
We loved every thing about this place the children had a ball the staff were great and we hope to be back next year
“Can't wait to go back”
This place is awesome.....the friendliness of ALL the staff made us feel like home in the first few hours. This, in hindsight, was the highlight of our stay there!! They were so helpful, knew you by name and always had a huge "bula" on meeting. This resort is small but not cramped with plenty of room between bures. You will get to know other guests but not feel like you are living on their doorstep! It is certainly NOT a 5 star resort with all the mod cons so if this is what you like, it is not for you. The bures are a true Fijian experience with breathtaking views over the ocean and islands. They are very clean and and rustic and have bar fridge, hair dryer and aircon if required (We were not expecting this!). The resort is on a tidal flat but is this did not distract from the views. Free resort activities include, snorkelling daily, kayaking and coconut tree climbing demo (including fresh coconut to eat after!!!). The resort food is excellent and JB's do a fantastic pizza with awesome sunset views. It is very close to town so a quick trip to Nadi is only a quick taxi ride away. (F$8 one way to town). There are plenty of small supermarkets and bottleshops not far from the resort and plenty of cab drivers that will take you there for about F$10 return. In summary, we stayed for 5 nights and then moved to an expensive island for our last night........regretfully!!! This place is a MUST stay and we will certainly be back!
“Will definitely stay again. Already thinking when I can get back!”
Great room, great staff, close enough to nadi but a world away.
“best transit ever!!!”
arriving at 5am i was not sure if the free shuttle transfer would be available but it was. i only waited 5-10 minutes for the driver ~ and it being so early in fiji-the sun was not even up-we stopped at the local bakery to pick up the days bread which i thought was kinda cool.there's nothing like the smell of freshly baked bread ~ in your shuttle transfer!! we also had to pick up some of the workers along the way. i didn't mind at all..it simply added to my adventure.others however, may not be so liberal! arriving at the resort about 6:30 am, breakfast wasn't open til 7 but my ! that view and the bay! the sun was rising and it was a beautiful spot to take some early morning pix. i loved my 'bure'-the hut/lodge was perfect for me.comfy bed which i made use of during my 2 jet-lagged induced naps during my stay.swam in the pool..lunch was a bountiful salad and again -that view! internet cafe was literally 1 slow computer but enough to let family and friends know i had made it. the shuttle back to the airport was not available so they called me a cab which was only 15 fijian dollars which is about US$8 ~ a short trip. overall i loved my stay and would highly recommend it to anyone with a very long lay over.just wish i had i stayed for a night!!!!
“Great little resort”
Small resort with beachfront units. Very large rooms in the villa. Terrific views out to sea. You need to have a rental car as it is a bit out of the way but we found that one of its charms. Food was OK. Breakfast cook couldn't boil water but otherwise good value for money in the restaurant. I reckon it was the best resort I've stayed at including the big 5 star ones. Highly recommend.
“Great Hotel! I wish i could have stayed longer”
I only stayed for a couple of nights as a transit hotel, but it truly impressed me, I think the pictures shown are not showing the reality of this hotel, it is truly beautiful. I can't review the beach because I didn't have the time to actually go to the beach there, but the service, the food, the gardens and the rooms are great. The only complain I had was that the shower was a little too small, but just a minor detail.
