“Mana Island - hope to go back soon”
Good food overall at both restaurants, garden bures very clean and comfortable. Staff friendly. Good kids club. Has a nice laid back island atmosphere - not a plush international resort feel to it
“Great island experience”
Went to Mana for a family wedding. Hotel was very nice, the staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was better than expected. The food at the South Beach Restaurant is nicer than the buffet, however the buffet food is fine and there is plenty of choice. The kids club was great, the children had a fantastic time there. There is also a backpackers on the island and we ate at the restaurant there one night. The food was great, it was a nice change from the hotel restaurants and the staff were really thankful that we went down there. The wedding was amazing and beautiful. I would highly recommend Mana Island.
“Keeps on getting better!!”
This was the 6th time we have been to Mana and it keeps on getting better. They are gradually ungrading all the facilities and with each upgrade the place keeps improving. This time, as they advised me the previous year, they upgraded the kitchen and the food was just a pleasure. If I was to have an complaint it would be, the staff are so efficient - there seems to be no "Fijian Time"...which is ironically a characteristic is Fiji. Thank you Mana for treating us so well. May you stay such good value for money!
“Oceanfront Suite”
We were really happy with our room choice. There was plenty of room for a family, and the 2 bathrooms were great! It was just a short stroll from the beach were there is great snorkelling. We decided on the meal plans, as it was easier and cheaper with the children. From the 1st April, they have a 3% surcharge on credit card payments, good to be aware of! Overall, we were very happy with our holiday choice.
“Nikhil's Mana Island Resort Review”
Great service, beautiful beaches & most of all awesome people. (locals)
“Beautiful - only a few small drawbacks”
Absoultely wonderful. Lots of fun stuff to do, nice people, etc. Major drawback- food is not included in the price. Breakfast was an additional 15USD per day and lunch and dinner were about 20$ each per day. The restaurant is MUCH better than the buffet and frequently less expensive. Also, there is a "dive shop"/hostel that is right down the beach and they serve EXCELLENT food practically for free compared to the resort. Go to the resort's restaurant for lunch and dinner and the hostel for breakfast and you'll be set. Also, there are much more interesting people at the hostel :-) Second drawback for us; we're a young couple with no children and this place absolutely caters to families with children. I absolutely adore kids, but there were children EVERYWHERE, and the parents there seem to think that becasue it's a child-friendly resort that they have permission to let their children run wild with absoutely no supervison. We were there for a week and screaming running children were not the exception but the rule. If you have kids, this place is a dream. Actually- it's so beautifu that eve with the crazy screaming kids, it was still a dream.
“Relaxing and yet very active!”
A brilliant place - staff were fantastic in organising daily activities and evening entertainment. Excellent place to skuba dive with a wonderful team leading this. Very well set up for kids - beach is stunning and good variety as you could always be out of the wind. Food - good selection and variety - service always fast and not on 'fiji time'! A great place for a holiday.
“Can't wait for our return visit”
This place is amazing. The people are genuine with their Bula welcome everytime you see them. The food is not the best. Try Rata Kini's backpackers instead. The staff are amazing and this place is absolute paradise. We can't wait to go back!
“Great hotel but bad food”
Great experience. Good island and quality resort. Staff are great. Only negative is that the food is very poor and very expensive but the backpacker's food 5 minutes walk away is good and cheap.
“You must stay here!”
This was our first time to Fiji and we loved every minute! Mana is a great semi-private island. Very relaxing, I think time goes slower when you are on the island. In all of my travels I have yet to come across such a friendly staff, always smiling and eager to help you. The only thing to be warned about is the food, definitely could use some improvements. When you go be sure to say "Bula" to Sami, he's a great guy.
