“What a lovely place to stay”
We stayed overnight on our way from Key West to Naples. It was so nice that we didn't really want to leave next morning. Excellent restaurant, lovely pool with poolside bar, a little beach and very friendly and helpful staff.
“Would return in a second!”
We LOVED this resort! The grounds of this resort were lush and beautiful. Anything you wanted was right at your fingertips. We enjoyed just walking around the resort taking a seat on many of the available hammocks. The drinks and food from the bar were delivered right to our beachside lounge chairs. Our kids enjoyed "snorkeling" on the beach. Our room was very comfortable and we took advantage of our scenic balcony.
“I'd go back again!”
We arrived on April 19, 2012. We were facing the bay on the 3rd floor. It was beautiful view. The pool was warm and clean, not crowded. Hot tub was great! We went to Guss's restaurant for 2 breakfasts and 1 suppoer.. everything was excellent, the staff friendly. Our room also had a balcony with 2 chairs (we could have used a little table too.We didn't take advantage of their scuba boat or jetskis because we didn't have time.
“Hospitable Key Largo Marriot Resort”
We have stayed here before and will do so again. Helpful, polite and friendly staff, plenty of accessible ammenities, great pool area and private beach, comfy bed, nice size room that was clean and in good condition.
“We Loved It !”
Stepped out of my room to a beautiful beach with a glowing sun set and sipped my morning coffee in the beach hammock right on the bay... who could ask for more? oh..did I mention the resident Egret who came to visit every morning or the dolphins swimming near the dock? Forget Key West --there is so much to do in Key Largo! Just a great place to visit. The Via Family
“Location Location”
If location was everything you wouldn't go anywhere else! We even found a postcard view taken from the quay area. The view from the room was great and ideal for viewing the sunsets. The pool is large and well kept with pleanty of guest towels. The restaurant food is excellent although we found the same meal was cooked a little differently on succesive nights. Any problems were all sorted satisfactorily and staff were very polite. These ranged from over rare tuna to a loss of water in the room. We made plentuful use of the hammocks and watched and listened to the schools of dolphin. Watched the great white heron, one of whom we found at the bottom of the restaurant steps one evening. We stayed for 4 days which we found enough for the area, time for a bit of exploring and fishing.
“Great experience”
Loved this property! The afternoon cookies were a lovely addition to the overall feeling of care and comfort . We requested a quiet room and our request was granted. Room was well appointed and spacious. Gus's Grill food was very good. Best part about this stay was the staff. Very attentive, got extra decaf when we requested it and answered all our questions, including "What time is sunset?" Would definitely recommend this property to others and stay here again.
“Great for families”
The hotel was clean and well kept. The pool is kept at a very comfortable temperature. The towels are well stocked . The beach is small, but comfortable with plenty of lounge chairs. Everything was great though this location does cater more to the Family rather than singles or couples visiting for Spring Break.
“Relaxing time in Key Largo”
Had a really great time. Room was clean and what I expected. Great view and atmosphere - great sunsets over the bay. Loved the free happy hour food at Breezers. Gus's restaurant was a bit overpriced - can definitely find better prices within a short drive. Dive shop was also staffed well - friendly and helpful. Also really nice that there were not a ton of kids around - a few, but not many - helped keep the pool area from becoming a mad house. Figure the summer is different, but in May it is wonderful. Oh and dont forget the fresh cookies in the lobby after 1pm - awesome on all levels!!
“Great Place”
The hotel was incredibly nice and comfortable at a reasonable price. If you're going to Key Largo I would definitely recommend it. Right off US-1 and a short drive to swimming with dolphins. Also had dive trips that left right from the resort.
