Loved that this property was a short walking distance to the beaches, both public and private. Also, after a long day at the beach and in town only for a short stay you don't want to be searching for a good place to eat, and La Pineta is attached to a great restaurant - super yummy and convenient! Great stay!

Air con a major issue
The stay was awful because the air conditioning wasn’t operating properly resulting in an in room temperature of around 32 degrees overnight and we have a one year old baby. Spoke to the front desk on multiple occasions where they claimed to have fixed the issue but they hadn’t. Found out later our whole floor was affected. We check out half way through our stay.

The hotel was a gem, located right across the street from the beautiful forest and seaside. What a delight to arrive and be welcomed so nicely by the staff! We stayed in the family suite which was located at the back of the building - perfect for us to spread out, and feel like we were in our own little beach condo! Super clean rooms and walkways, breakfast was all we needed to start the day. The hotel was bright and airy. Highly recommend to anyone staying in the area.

OK at best
First the good stuff: The location was very accessible. Our apartment had parking right under the room. The apartment was spacious and clean. The service was very responsive and friendly. (we communicated between broken Italian). We thought the hotel is on the beach and found out you have to cross through a camping ground which is restricted to campers. The lady at the gate was very kind to allow us to cross and we found a lovely setting with a bar with really great drinks, ice cream etc. Our room had individual air conditioners - during the nigh one of them started to make excessive noise which woke us up - it was 3am :(. Breakfast was included but the kitchen was closed off (due to COVID?) and we had to stand in line to point to what we wanted. The quality was mediocre - no veggies, only hard boiled eggs, a variety of stale cereal, jams, and a lot of sweets. We called in advance to make sure our daughter who has Celiac could get an omlette - they said no problem - but declined to provide this when we came to eat. She was offered hard gluten free cracker or biscuits or crackers.

Decent for a night or two
The hotel is nice, cozy and clean. However if you arrive early, the reception will refuse to let you leave your bags while you go explore the area. Furthermore, no beach towers are available to borrow or rent, which is a shame for a hotel so close to beach. The breakfast is mediocre at best.

Dear ...the double room in Italy is with 2 single beds, in America the double room is with 2 queen beds. the rate was perfect for our rooms, changing with 1 family room the extra is obligatory ..and that's it..,thank you for your visit ..

Excellent hotel!!
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Clean room, quiet area, very close to the beach right across. Had a really nice time there! Would definitely recommend!! Thank you for a wonderful visit to Follonica. :)

Good
Pretty nice hotel, all good, but nothing special to say. Since it's far from the city center don't wait too long with dinner - businesses are closed early. Technically, parking is free, but you need to circle around a lot before you find free spot on street nearby.

Great affordable stay in follonica
Great affordable stay within walking distance to Folonica city and very close to beach. Had the hotel apartment which was great for our family of 5. Breakfast was basic, but there where plenty of it. Reception was very welcoming and check in was quick.

Modernistic hotel in Tuscany coast small town... Popular with local Italian families for vacation time... Arrived on shoulder season as town saws quieting down after a busy summer.., great place to mellow out in late September

Newly renovated, great service
A lovely little hotel, very recently renovated, very modern, nicely decorated, comfortable, and with great service. One short block to a great beach. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the centre of town.

Really close to a good beach--great hotel staff!
We had only one night here but wish we had had several. This hotel has a slightly higher price than others in the area and in the city center, but we found the extra money worth it. This hotel really wants to go to the next level and based on our experience there, we wish them well!

La colazione è ottima ma il locale in cui viene servita è decisamente troppo piccolo specialmente se le temperature del mattino sono fresche e non si può mangiare all’esterno. Per il resto tutto perfetto, personale gentilissimo, vicino alla spiaggia, parcheggio facile e gratuito.

Personale cordiale, al check-in l'accoglienza è stata professionale, dando informazioni utili per il soggiorno e consigli per i luoghi nelle vicinanze. Comoda posizione per arrivare al centro, come comoda è la pista ciclabile lungo tutto il percorso. Vicinissimo alle spiaggie sia libere che a strutture private. Fondamentale per chi possiede animali di piccola taglia, in quanto danno la possibilità di portarli al seguito. La camera comoda con tutti i comfort essenziali. Ottimo Hotel, di sicuro sarà una priorità per un prossimo soggiorno. Complimenti

Chambre bien, petit déjeuner affreux
Hôtel bien situé tout proche de la mer. Chambre très correct pour le prix. Par contre elles sont peu insonorisées, on est donc vite dérangé par les personnes chahutant dans les couloirs. Le petit déjeuner est à revoir: produits de médiocre qualité, la nourriture n'est pas contrôlée et est reproposée le lendemain alors qu'il y a de la moisissure dessus (tarte au chocolat). Le personnel est néanmoins très aimable.

We are very sorry for this, we will certainly pay more attention to the production and conservation of our products, it being understood that in many years of activity this is the first time that a problem of this kind has occurred.Our breakfast offers a wide range of both sweet and savory products: fresh milk, infusions, juices, coffee of various types, cereals, croissants, cakes with various flavors, jams, honey, biscuits, fresh fruit, fruit salad, sandwiches of various qualities , cheeses, hard-boiled eggs, mixed cold cuts and we care a lot about the quality of our products. Ein kleines Hotel, etwas abseits gelegen. Das Frühstück war etwas dürftig, einige Sachen waren alle, die Brötchen hart. Wir verstehen den Sinn nicht, dass man manche Sachen wie Kuchen und Wurst nur vom Personal gereicht bekommt und manche, wie Croissants und Berliner nicht. Die neuen Handtücher hatten öfters bereits Flecken. Allgemein war das Zimmer nur oberflächlich sauber. Die Vorhänge waren kaputt und gingen manchmal weder auf, noch zu. Schaut bloß nicht die Klobürste an, pfui.
