The Crown Plaza, Englewood NJ is a well kept property and the staff is excellent. New A/C system, comfortable king bed and clean. The property is strategically located only 15 minutes or so from the GW Bridge and very close to the Englewood business district. The front desk manager Alysia is excellent along with her two colleagues. Reasonably priced and worth the stay!

The reason I’m was worn and in need of a refresh. Carpet was stained in multiple areas. Bathroom tub/shower was chipped with some mildew in the corners, mirrors were faded, lighting was marginally acceptable. Rooms are priced accordingly.

The hotel needs an upgrade, outdated. Rooms are large and bright compared to tiny rooms in Manhattan. No complimentary water in rooms, TV doesnt have smart functions. Hotel is close to George Washington bridge, but you need to figure out how to commute to Manhattan. You can use jitney route, which is close. I wasn't informed a shuttle service from hotel to Bridge but that can be real game changer if exists. Price is reasonable. So lots,of room for improvement, cpuld be better.

When I arrived at the hotel with my family, I was told by the receptionist that my reservation was for the following day and not that day! It was a shock, but I had made a mistake when I made the reservation. The receptionist was very kind and helpful and was able to change my non-refundable reservation to the same day after talking to the Expedia customer service. I would like to thank him again for making a smooth transition without any interruption on our trio plans.

The plaza was a nice place to stay. The staff was nice and the room was clean. We enjoyed the added breakfast so we didn't have to go find another resturant. It was only a continental breakfast, but it was good.

Room was visibly dirty and not vacuumed (found false eyelashes on floor, shower floor had hairs, smudges on table and counter surfaces, hole in bathroom door. Bed itself was clean and comfortable. Encountered few staff. Check in was easy. Coffee/tea was not replenished (only one coffee cup for a stay for 2 people). It was alright for one night but don’t plan to return for accommodations.

Swimming pool was closed for maintenance on both days that we were at the hotel. Bathroom floor had a tile pattern that looked like it was dirty. There was an air filter below the thermostat that wasn't properly covered. Otherwise, conditions were fine. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet that came with the room.
