“Great experience!”
So I found this place on line and secured the reservation sight unseen. Then, I went the day before to check it out. Admittedly, as I drove up I considered cancelling as it looked older and possibly run down. But, I decided to go in and look around. I was very pleasantly surprised--inside it was very clean, quaint, and charming. The view from the harbor side rooms was awesome. The bed slept great--even for my wife who is very picky. Is it a 5 star hotel?...No, but for the price it was clean, homey, quaint and not stuffy like a 5-star hotel. I would take it over any of the high-rise modern monsters on the harbor any day. Peaceful, relaxing and stress relieving. It was very quiet as well, though it was not summer or spring break...so I don't know how that might be. All in all, it's a great find! I will definitely be back!
“Peaceful getaway!”
Very nice hotel. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Great location. Very clean. All I can say is get the harbor side view. It's worth the extra! My wife and I had a great romantic getaway. It is a pet friendly hotel but only 2 out of 5 floors r dedicated to pets. Good if u have pets, good if u don't... Wifi was great and the breakfast was enough. There is also a donut place right down the road. I have stayed at Marriott and some of the high end locations but would choose this any day!
“Hit The Sweet Spot”
We flew in to the Destin airport and was checking into The Inn on Destin Harbor within 15 minutes of landing. We had dinner at The Marina Cafe right next door (we walked there). The hotel was having a free Brazilian BBQ at the time, but I am on a vegan diet, so the vegetarian sushi at Marina Cafe was what I needed. The only thing wrong with the room was the TV remote was missing its batteries and the front desk took care of that problem instantly. We will be back for sure.
“Big bed, Good area.”
I spend a lot of time in the area due to family and have stayed in many of the bigger hotels. The Inn on Destin Harbor is smaller, more quaint, but just as nice as the others. Don't let the small building size make you think its not a nice place, the beds are comfy and clean. I will be using this hotel again in the future.

It was a very nice hotel... bathroom a little tight. other than that it was great!!
“Definition of a great time and great stay”
The hotel was very nice. It was quaint and not as crazy as most bigger hotels are. The breakfast was delicious with good options, and the housekeeping was always on time. The owner of the hotel actually took us on a boat ride around the harbor and made sure we were enjoying our stay. Very nice!

Really good location with views over the harbour. Nice sized room that was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was more than adequate and could be eaten overlooking the bay. Try to get a room with a view of the harbour.

first time staying here. there was no down side to it. everything was great. the best part was being able to walk to all the good restaurants and bars.

Great view, right on the harbor, good breakfast, and perfect location. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is friendly, and overall atmosphere is wonderful for a family vacation.
