“Great Beach Retreat”
Entire setting was inviting and relaxing. Will definitely return. Service was exceptional and "made" the experience.
“Perfect for Fall”
We went to Watercolor Inn in the Fall. The weather was warm enough to lie by the pool, but cool enough to take part in activities offered without any discomfort. We went bike riding to nearby Seaside and Watercolor housing. We went canoeing. We walked along the beach which to the west is secluded. We stayed on the top (4th) floor which I highly recommend. The sand dunes are high and I think we would have been disapponted is we had stayed on the lower two levels. All of the staff were great and eager to please. Enjoyed the complimentary breakfasts and complimentary DVD library. Took part in a Pilates class which was excellent. We will definitely stay there again.

Great location, beautiful white beaches, part of the very nice Water Color development east of Destin.
“Great resort, slightly overpriced”
What a beautiful resort to stay at! We felt that the restaurants were slightly overpriced and would have been nice to have more of a dinner selection.
“The Best in the Panhandle - but be forewarned”
Great complex in the middle of nowhere. Huge population of screaming kids. Don't stay here is you want quiet at pool of beach. And don't believe the brochure about the adult only pool...it's a joke. We had to ask to have our patio swept to eliminate the cigarette butts and the draperies feel down (literally) on the 2nd day. Plus they have the nerve to charge for a beach chair and umbrella ($25/day). They waived the charge but I had to put up a fuss. They said that Publix was down the street (actually about 5 miles away) and that we could go buy a beach chair there. Real snooty staff. Manager waived the fee though. Great restaurant worth going to late to miss the screaming brats. Pricey, so it eliminates the cheap skates. Pretty community. But would not return.
