“rooftop view”
I had a single room, on the top (9th) floor. It was very small, but one of the nicest single rooms I've had, as it had a (tiny) balcony, with a great view over the rooftops and the Frankfurt skyline. And centrally located, a short walk from the Konstablerwache underground station. Very good value for money. One point that may be important for some guests, though, is that the lifts only go to the 8th floor, so these cute rooftop rooms can only be reached by taking the stairs from the 8th.

Small, secure hotel located in downtown Frankfurt. Staff knew my name and was always helpful and the breakfast offered were excellent. Someone was always at front desk and if they had to leave the desk, the front door was secured. English was spoken and courtesy of staff was excellent.

“Good hotel, great area, no problems.”
We liked this hotel and felt that they went out of their way to accomodate our situation. Our flight got in at 5:45am (!) and when we got to the hotel they said they were full and no rooms were available, but we could leave our luggage if we wanted to go get coffee and try back around 10am, which we did. We came back at 9am and they gave us a room, no charge for being so much earlier than their check-in time. We've been charged at other hotels for showing up at 12:30 (90 minutes before check-in time) so this was a nice surprise. Great area near the shopping district and plenty of good restaurants and bars. We had a clean room that had everything we needed with no noise problems. Would definitely come back!
“Four stars (for the price)”
OK, if I would have paid 150 euro a night this would get two stars, but the hotel is one of the best priced in Frankfurt. No luxury here at all, but a standard (and clean, despite other reviews) room. At the price, it is a reasonable quality of room and service. The front desk was not unhelpful, the breakfast was not bad. For the price, "not bad" equals "pretty good". I arrived straight from Japan and just wanted to sleep. The hotel was quiet and I was left alone. Can't complain. Being three minutes walk from Zeil is an added bonus.
