“Excellent stay!”
We had a lovely stay at the Gaviotas Park. The hotel was spotless, the staff extremely friendly and the food was superb. The British are in the minority at the Gaviotas Park, but this was not an issue for us. There was a different show every night and the entertainment staff couldn't do enough to make sure you enjoy your stay. You can actually eat, drink or watch a show in the Las Gaviotas Hotel next door, which we did from time to time. Beautiful views of the beach from the bar in the Gaviotas Hotel. All in all, excellent value for money, we would go back again.
“One Week All Inclusive At Iberostar Complex Jandia Fuerteventura”
The Gaviotas Park is very much family small child orientated. Therefore can be a lot of noise and running about at mealtimes. The food is good but the wine is a fixed offer - one type in bottles and another on draught and (in my opinion) is not very good. The hotel is very orientated to German visitors - no problems at all with this but be aware this is the case, as most activities and annoucements will start with a German language introduction. All hotel staff spoke good English though. The Gaviotas Park and the Gaviotas Playa hotels are linked therefore you can use the bars in either on all inclusive. However to eat in the other hotel you need to book one day in advance. The Iberotstar Palace is a separate unit. You cannot use the bar there if you are in the Park of the Playa on all inclusive - however you can use the restaurant which is more service orientated and has a wine list which if you book a day in advance means you can get a decent bottle of wine on the all inclusive deals. Position of complex is very good just above the beach and with a small Spar supermarket across the main road (you can go through a pedestrian tunnel from the beach). The walk into Morrehable is along the seafront but is approximately 5 to 6 kilometres which can be a long walk in hot sun. Sea bathing is good with sandy beach and shallow water. Pools are good size but only the Palace has one for serious swimming rather than splashing about.
