The service was so good, I can say is even better than some big brand name hotel. The price is pretty reasonable for included dinner and breakfast. I would stay at the same hotel when I visit Mt. Fuji again

The staff and hotel were incredible, i would definitely recommend staying at this hotel. The food was so so good and they catered for two vegetarians so well. The views of Fuji were unreal, really had an amazing time. Thank you

Friendly staff and good service, the half board experience is over the top with delicious food. We had a comfortable and relaxing stay with the great Mount Fuji view from our rooms. Highly recommended!

Was beautiful. staff was so nice and friendly got to see all of Mount Fujii from our room and enjoy the lake. Would recommend bringing food or getting the meals as there is not much around in the evening for food

I give 100 out of 10 for all staffs. Everyone’s willing to help and service. It’s rare for ryokan’s staff can speak English but they can, even the driver!!! The view from my room was stunning. Dinner and breakfast were good. I got Japanese sock and picture of Mt. Fuji as souvenirs from hotel.

Staff were so friendly & welcoming. We came on a cloudy day and at the time there was no visibility of Mt Fuji. One of the hotel staff said she would pray we see Fuji during our stay and sure enough, later that some day we saw Fuji so clearly. It was a lovely gesture. Room was adorable & had view of Lake and Fuji. We loved wearing our Yukata & the Onsen was a nice treat to end the day sight seeing. We had it to ourselves and watched Fuji disappear into the night. Bus stop for the sightseeing bus is very close. Overall, I was so pleased I booked this hotel. Made our trip so special.

A gem
Amazing dinner and breakfast, highly recommended. Hotspring bath is a little small, but sufficient. Room was very clean. The hotel itself is quite aged, but it's kept really clean. The best is the staff that was extremely friendly and helpful.

This is a small place but it was wonderful! I would definitely stay here again and would recommend this place to family and friends. They offer shuttle service to pick you up/drop off to the station. The food was very good; very filling but delicious. All the staff were very nice and attentive. Worth the price. We all loved this place.

Had a great time in this ryokan. Stuff made everything possible to make our stay unforgettable. They take extra step to serve you and very helpful and pleasant. Room was very clean and overlooking the lake and mount Fuji. We had amazing dinner and breakfast there. Amazing onsen overlooking mount Fuji, would highly recommend!

Great hotel by the lake
Loved my one night stay at Hotel Asafuji. Staff were very friendly and accommodating to our requests and even ferried our luggages to the train station (made an extra trip for us). Dinner and breakfast were excellent and had a homey touch to it. Would definitely recommend Asafuji to anyone who is seeking a traditional Japanese ryokan experience!

Great japanese style hotel!
It was a great stay! My stay included japanese style dinner and breakfast, the food was amazingly tasty! The service was excellent as well! It was an older hotel but it is maintained well. Can see mount fuji from onsen which is a really nice view! Will definitely come back again!

We stayed there two nights with breakfast and dinner package. Started from the pickup from the training station, the man who picked up is really nice and kind. Once in the hotel, all the staffs are really friendly. Room is really spacious and clean, same as the on-sen. Breakfasts and dinners were delicious with lots of different varieties, we were hardly finish all of them. Overall we really glad we've chosen this one and stayed there. Thanks you all Hotel Asafuji staffs.

Great view and location
We were picked up by the shuttle bus from the Train Station very quickly. The room had an incredible view of the lake and My. Fuji. We were served tea in our room. The traditional Yukata robes were beautiful. The dinner and the breakfast​ had a beautiful presentation with a variety of dishes. We had a memorable experience. (The Ryokan should publish that they provide free shuttle which we found out by accident at the train station tourist information center. By the way the tourist information center also made the call to the ryokan to pick us up.) . While you are at the train station you should pick up 3 day bus pass which gives you unlimited rides on the Green and Red bus lines.

Nice ryokan, onsen over seeing lake and Mt Fuji but only 1 tub (small onsen) dinner and breakfast was good. The BEST part of this hotel is the room view of Mt Fuji and lake. Staff very friendly but speak little English. They provide bus shuttle from station. Once you reached station ask tourist information to help you call the hotel for pick up.

Such an amazing experience! Service was impeccable. When we went out to sightsee, they offered to shuttle us there. We enjoyed the dinner and breakfast even though not everything was our cup of tea. The onsen had a view of Mt Fuji, and I had such a relaxing time.

The dinner and breakfast was delicious and plentiful. However the room had this damp smell and we were bitten during our sleep. Staff were friendly.

Lovely little Japanese Inn
Hotel pickup and drop off at the Kawaguchiko station was efficient. Staff were very friendly and tried their best although their English was not very good. Room was basic but clean and good sized. One thing to note is that the Hotels.Com website says that the bathroom is shared. This is not correct as each room comes with an attached toilet, shower and wash basin. It is the hot bath and the shower room next to the hot bath that is shared. Take the dinner option if you can. It is a huge 11 or 12 course meal that is simply delicious. All in a good stay at a lovely inn.

視野景色很美，位置佳走幾步就可以到巴士站，餐點品質佳，四樓可以泡溫泉看美景，重點是服務非常非常之好，我們搭火車來回來接，要去坐纜車也載我們去，超過規劃時間也載我們去車站，有兩位會說中文的服務人員，溝通很順暢，真的大推一百分。

房間非常舒服，湖景很美，走路到纜車與游船站大概15分鐘，慢慢沿著湖邊散步很舒服。房間棉被都很日式，還有浴衣跟外套可以穿，景觀澡堂很棒，大推薦！
