“Excellent option in Galena, IL”
Excellent staff. We are very pleased with the service.
“Fine for 1 night visit”
Nothing real fancy but very comfortable and clean. Not a lot of room if you have children staying with you. My only complaint was that the coffee maker was in the bathroom --need a bigger vanity in the bedroom for these types of items. Breakfast was very good as well. Definitely would recommend.

The hotel was quaint and cozy, just the perfect setting for the snowy weather during our weekend. Staff was pleasant and upbeat... a nice place to stay!
“It was ok”
We were dissappointed there were no elevators to the second floor. Carrying suitcases was not easy.We had tepid water for showers in the morning. Breakfast was good and staff helpful. Rooms wre clean and neat, Overall was a good experience.

The hotel was beautiful. The people at the front desk were very kind and polite. The room was awesome and very clean! We had a GREAT TIME!
“Surprisingly good for the money!”
Both my wife and I were extremely pleased and surprised by the quality of this hotel, especially considering it was one of the least expensive places in the area. Staff was very accomodating, even changing our room from the second to the first floor after the first night and storing some ice cream we bought in their freezer. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for more than adequate accomodations for an extremely reasonable price. We would stay here again if we visit this area once more.

The place was a very good stay. I have traveled many SkyMiles the last couple of years and have stayed in a LOT of motels and hotels. I can say that I really enjoyed this one. I loved how my room had a rocking chair, night table made out of old trunks, and a wonderful quilt as a spread. really made me feel as if I was in the country.

What a pleasant surprise to find a nice deck to sit out on overlooking a private pond and mature trees. It was nice to see them out the room window--that's not something you get everyday! Nice pool, too.
