"It was a great stay, mere minutes from the Latin Quarter and a large range of shops, pubs, and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was fabulous. We ate at the bistro and the food was very good as well. We had a garden room on the ground floor, but the only issue was the noise from passerbys on the river walk path. "

The breakfast was scrumptious, with plenty of choice. If i was to say anothong other than an excellent stay, when they the quieter time os between 7 and 8am , only if no tour parties are staying.although the restaurant area was lathe enougb to cater for all."

"Wonderful stay at Glenlo Abbey! The grounds and hotel are beautiful. We were upgraded to a one bedroom Lodge room. Access to the living room, kitchen and laundry were a bonus. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff here are wonderful, friendly, informative and attentive. The Palmer restaurant is very nice and the food delicious. A ride into the city center of Galway was about ten minutes. We couldn’t have had a better stay. "

"Lovely comfortable and spacious Room, very clean. Only downside was the noise from other guests as the door did not fully seal with the frame therefore was not noise proof and the doors slammed closed, the noise from the slamming doors and other guests walking down the corridor to their rooms and then the slamming of the doors kept waking/me awake. But all in all a very pleasant experience "
