“Great Place to Go”
We went at the end of the season, so not many Europeans around. We got a real sense of Goa and had a wide choice of places to go; though if you want the high life go at a busy time. The service in the Hotel was excellent, the staff could not do enough for us. Yes the streets are not tidy, but this is India and if you want pristine neatness it is not the country for you. Can't wait to return and the Lemon Tree would be our number one choice.
“Best in Goa!”
Excellent place for excellent holiday. Even during monsun. Enjoy!
“best hotel i've ever stayed in”
absolutely amazing - everything from being shown to our room by the manager himself, the cleanliness and beauty of the resort, the wonderful pool, the service, the addictive breakfast buffet, and probably the friendliest, staff i've ever encountered. i would recommend this place to the pickiest travellers I know...
“Very impressed”
Although very expensive compared to nearby hotels I found it to be a really good hotel. Clean and comfortable the service was second to none and the restaurant attached served the most fantastic food. Drinks in the hotel cost about three times as much as nearby bars and restaurants.
“Heaven in Goa”
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It's rated 3 or 3 1/2 stars but the service is 5 stars! The hotel had a car ready to pick me up at the airport with an easy to see placard. It took about 45 mins to get to the hotel and the drive is scenic. The hotel itself is very clean, the service was excellent! Everyone was helpful and ready to serve! There are 2 hammocks setup by the pool..a perfect place to read or take a nap. I wish I had taken time to go to the spa.
“Best hotel in Candolim”
This was our second visit to the Lemon Tree and it was the quality of the hotel which took us back to Goa. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff who were always friendly and kind. The quality of the food was excellent and it is the perfect place to relax away from the noise of the road.
“Brilliant hotel & location”
My husband and I decided to go to Goa for our honeymoon and we weren't disappointed. The drive from the airport was around 50mins BUT it was all worth it when we arrived at the entrance of the hotel. Hotel staff was amazing from the greeting us in reception to taking care of our luggage to the room. The hotel is only a 3min walk from the beach but both the resort & beach are so amazing. Totally spoilt for choice. The restaurants in the resort is good and you can catch a cab into the city for more traditional restaurants. Somewhere we'll definitely go again.
“Very good stay”
Excellent hotel. The in house restaurant was expensive but had good food. A taxi from the airport to the hotel should not cost more than Rs. 700. (non AC) There are a couple of restaurants down the street which are good and for less than half the price. There is a complimentary breakfast buffet which is quite good. The staff were very helpful, rooms were very clean and I would definitely stay there again.
“Want to go back”
I went to Goa, without expecting to ever wish to return. I just wanted to see the area once in my life. However, the hotel stay was so good that now I want to return. Hotel staff was all helpful and friendly and attentive. It was just a short 2-minute walk to a beach, and also close to lots of little shops. Our room was large and comfortable, and great value for the money.
“A dash of delightful lemon in Goa.”
We absolutely loved the decor and layout of the resort, the rooms and the restaurants. The pool was clean and the fresh lemongrass fragrance when you enter the rooms is just brilliant, inviting. Definitely recommend this resort for its locale, convenience as to the left of the gate just a KM down, there are department stores, shops, you name it, it is there. The food is well suited to the western palates, which was a tad bit disappointing for us Indians. The internet access was quick, access to beach and bikes were easy and the cleaning crew did their job well. The only downside in our room was the lack of a bathtub, but we did not feel its absence with a beautiful shower area in the bath. On the whole, a great place to stay and definitely recommend it to all.
