“Great Hotel”
Really good. Close to the beach lots of activities about. Great for children. The food was good and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Most could speak English. Highly recommend.

“Hotel the best we have found or used on Gran Canaria , will certainly use again”
From the start the hotel was brilliant arriving very late we were greeted at reception warmly, and although the restaurant was closed a light supper had been put aside for us.Our room 312 overlooked the beautiful tranquil gardens and was spotlessly cleaned daily, the food in the restaurants and bars was first class with plenty of choice, sitting around the poolside in the evening was very relaxing and the waiting staff very attentive.This is a hotel my partner would certainly choose again.

I had an amazing holiday in gran canaria, everything from the start to the ending, i would deffinetly back in there. The only problem is that the people doesnt speak very well english and prefer to communicate spanish or german and dislake people who speak english, well it's my personal opinion. I have stayed in IFA catarina hotel as 4 star it was good, the room was perfectly cleaned every day, the only propblem was too many families with childrens and the pool was always full of childrens, that was annoying a little bit.. but the overall it was an amzing 12 days holiday
“3-star hotel”
Pros: Good location, nice and large garden area. Cons: Inconvenient beds, maids create a lot of noise early in the morning. Breakfast variety and quality is average. Should be rated 3 stars, not 4.
“A very nice experience.”
Front desk staff excellent at handling all inquires. Dining staff excellent, courteous , and prompt. The hotel is ideally located in walking distance from the Dunes and the Beach. All the amenities were in good shape, and the rooms were spotless. Very enjoyable stay!

“Not for couples”
Overall the hotel was ok, however am not satisfied by the beds provided. Noticed that there were a lot of couples at the hotel, so had asked reception for a room with a double bed, they said they did not have any. We had to work around the 2 single beds provided. Breakfast was big, easy to get tables and no fighting around. Rooms were made bare, simple, but on the cheap side. To get to the beach you had to walk 20 minutes across the sand dunes. Was unique at first, then it got tiring. Swimming pool was small, and they had put the sun loungers too close to each other providing no privacy.
“Decent location & facilities”
Good location, everything is basic, but perfectly functional. Clean, tidy, modest. We were always out, so it was just a place to sleep and suited us fine. No kitchen or kitchenette. Waffles by the pool between 3-4:30 :)
