“Granada Best Hotel”
The Hotel and Restaurant are amazing, excellent service and a great location.
“Highly recommend.”
Hotel Villa Oniria is very conveniently located in old town in the center of Granada. The building is very authentic with beautiful fountain, wide staircase, and high ceilings. Hotel Villa Oniria has a huge patio and a terrace. All public places are nicely furnished. They serve wonderful breakfast buffet. If weather is good try to get a table outside on the terrace under palms. We had a small room on first floor with a balcony. Room was freshly refurbished and very clean. Our friends got way bigger room on 3-rd floor with king bed, balcony and two windows. As fact that I paid month earlier but the same price yet they got better room – unfair. WIFI – is free and fast. Valet parking is at regular price and we had no problem. There is a grocery store next door which is open till midnight. If you heading toward Granada – spend a night in Hotel Villa Oniria you won’t regret, but make sure you are assigned in good room you have paid for.
“Intimate classy hotel!”
Very good quality hotel minutes from main square Excellent rooms, very classy and superb garden to sip your drink in. Very good value for money - will go back! Mainly Spanish guests and with only 31bedrooms, very personal service. On the second day they know your coffee preferences for breakfast!
“Hotel Villa Oniria - Granada”
Stayed in Oct 2007. Great downtown hotel in the centre of town. Hotel was lovely, great service, staff were thouroughly professional. Room had goond air con and was kept very clean. Notes to those on holiday. Its a bit of a walk up the hill to the Alhambra or a short cab ride. Tickets: Book ahead (recommended) the hotel can try and arrange this for you or even better get you on a guided tour. The BBVA service mentioned in some guide books is no longer operational. If you want to do it on your own use the website. If you don't book and turn up on the day be prepared for the tickets to sell out early. Please save yourself the wait by going the ticket machines - there will also be a queue but much shorter than those waiting to pay with cash at teh main ticket office. Demand is invariably high even in low season. So if you really want to turn up on the day, get there early and go to the ticket machines. (Note no one will tell you to do this, just join the shorter queue.)
“A great hotel, a luxurious base for a stay in Granada”
A great, luxurious hotel, well located near the centre of Granda. The staff are very helpful and friendly and the hotel is maintained to the highest of standards. Our room was beautiful with a glorius, comfortable canopied bed. The public rooms are superb and a joy to relax in. I would thoroughly recommend and commend Hotel Villa Oniria.
“Nice Boutique Hotel”
My wife and I had a pleasant stay in the hotel - my only warning note is that to make it "trendy" and boutique, they have a glass door on the toilet, and a huge window that looks into the shower from the bedroom - think carefully about who you will be sharing the room with!!!!
“Perfect Position”
Villa Oniera Hotel is a "Boutique Hotel" in a perfect position for a visit to Granada, being within walking distance of all the interesting sights ( although Alhambra is uphill all the way there). Not cheap but very stylish. Dining room lacks character, better to eat out at good selection of pavement cafes / restaurants --mostly near Cathedral. Staff very friendly, helpful. Spa facilities are expensive Extras.
“Nice room”
Nice room, clean, quiet. It's Hi-Class for the price. You need 10 minutes for going to No.31,32 bus stop. The hotel location is for persons want slow stay.
“Luxury at a Price.”
Let's face it; this place is GORGEOUS. The rooms are lovely, garden sublime & a fountain in the lobby. What is not clear though is that they have taken to using the garden for a buffet that goes on all evening & costs a LOT extra. This means the garden is out of bounds to hotel guests in the evening, unless you pay for the buffet. We were literally locked out! And the buffet happens every evening. Same rules apply to the Spa which cost another load of euros to gain access to the pool. All this, plus the load of euros a day car parking means that the cost of your stay can easily double. Finally, there is a difficult choice to make between 3rd floor rooms; much quieter, but only velux windows...so VERY hot & stuffy with no view...or the lovely lower floor rooms which do overlook quite a noisy street. We changed to the latter, did not regret it...but were glad we had packed ear plugs!
“Two Star at Best”
This hotel was rated four stars and it is two stars at best. To begin, there was no air conditioning in the room. When we spoke to the management they indicated we needed to open the window for air. Nights were extremely uncomfortable and it was a noisy area - especially with a window open. The room amenities list indicated iron/ironing board in each room. When I asked for one, the management indicated the only iron around was a very large one in the hotel laundry facility. If I wanted my items ironed, I would have to send them to the cleaner. Wireless internet access was poor connection, but great if you went down to the lobby and placed your computer on the hotel desk. The carpet was dirty and the room was so small there was no place to put our luggage. Bathroom was great - almost bigger than the room. No hair dryer. Dining room was expensive - especially for breakfast. All amenities (fitness, internet, pool) are extra cost. The only great aspect about this stay was the location. It was in walking distance to most sites.
