“Nice hotel, lousy breakfast”
This hotel room was so quiet and comfortable! We had a king bed and it was great. I really liked that there were 2 sinks, one inside of the bath and one on the outside. The only downer was breakfast. It was truly pathetic. They serve from 6:30 to 9:30 - we got down there at 8:30 and they didn't have any bagels, muffins, NO juice, ran out of milk. they had cereal and waffles, but the line for the waffles was too long since that was all there really was. So.....
“Best of trip”
We were delighted with this room. This was the first room in an extensive trip and we said to each other "how are we going to manage to get rooms of this quality? It feels like we got the best one first." Enjoy the amenities here.
“Pretty average, nice”
We booked a King room, when we got there, our room was a double. But, they corrected that situation straight away, no problems. Our room was clean, nice. I did like that there were two sinks. Bed was very comfortable and I slept very well (I usually have a hard time getting a good night's sleep in hotels) The heater stunk to high-heaven and not just the first time of the season stink. It really smelled up the room. I turned it off and just ran the fan for noise. If it had been winter, that would not have been ok, would have needed heat to warm the room. But, other than that, it was all very nice & clean. Also, our coffee maker didn't work. It would be nice if there was a fridge to put perishables in. Breakfast in my opinion should run later than the 9:30 am time they have set. We meant to make it to breakfast, but overslept and missed it by 5 minutes. 9:30 is too early for people who are there to relax and aren't in a hurry to get on the road.
“Confused front desk lady”
We arrived at 4:07 pm & the front desk lady told us we could not check in until 4 pm. Once she realized it was past 4 pm she told us they did not have any clean rooms. It took until after 5 pm for a room to be clean. The parking lot was empty & not many people there the next morning so not sure why they didn't have clean rooms. Once she did get a room clean, she struggled a LOT with the computer to get us checked in. After all that, it was fine, just what we were looking for. Clean comfortable quiet room.
“Too much truck noise from the interstate”
Our room fronted on I-80. The truck noise kept my wife awake all night. Maybe road noise in rooms opposite the expressway might mave been less. There are no quality restaurants in the area. Just a truck stop.
“cleanish but not worth the money”
I would not stay again, although the desk clear was very helpful the hotel was in average condition and smelled like smoke. The first room that I was checked into had not been cleaned yet --- the desk clerk switched me to another room immediately. It was cleaner but still the corners of the bathroom were 'darker' than the rest of the floor and the doors had fingerprints on them. It was not worth the money I paid but was a place to sleep.
“Worked for me...”
older motel somewhat refurbished. Clean. Average breakfast with cereal, fruit, bread, pastry, boiled eggs and waffles.
