“Looking forward to another deal”
Easy to follow instructions and directions,Very welcoming greeting By all the Staff, even though it was late at night when we arrived Great location Erskine Bridge a wonderful sight to wake up to, and so very handy for Getting around the west coast of Scotland and close to the main motorway network With Glasgow so handy.we are an older couple well pleased Thank you
“Nice friendly hotel”
Could do with a refurb, although the rooms have been done.Good food friendly staff. If you like to go for the gym,it has most of what you would like.Pool small but clean.Steam room,Jacuzzi sauna rooms need some attention, but still useable.I go their every evening,so not that bad..You'll still enjoy yourself
“Highly recommended. We will stay again in the future.”
One of the nicest motel rooms we've ever stayed in. The only caveat, the mattress was uncomfortable. You sleep on a box spring, there is no mattress. This may be a Scottish thing, as, we encountered this arrangement at other Scottish B&Bs. The room must have recently been renovated, it was nicely furnished and even had real paintings on the walls (not prints). Bathroom was fabulous, all white tiles floor to ceiling, even a functional towel warmer. Super clean, also. The room had a really nice view of the river, which, runs next to the motel. There's a nice paved walkway along the river. The motel's hallways appear to be next to be renovated, they are very grungy - very different from the rooms themselves. Some of the reviews were mixed on the Erskine Bridge Motel, we however, were very happy with it, as, were our travel partners who stayed in another room. We had no problems with anything in the rooms, everything worked great. Even the toilet worked better than most UK toilets. The motel does provide a shuttle to and from the airport, you have to request it, however.
“Quality hotel”
Really enjoyed our stay as we paid next to nothing and were very pleased with the standard of hotel. Not a good spot if you want to walk anywhere but we were attending a wedding at Mar Hall and it was a perfect distance. Also, great for airport but would stay again just for a break as lots to see and do in the area as long as you have a car. Excellent value and staff very friendly and helpful.
“We are glad we ignored the negative comments we read”
We stayed 2 nights and were absolutely delighted with the hotel. Yes, the corridor on the 1st floor needs a lick of paint and new carpet. However, this was far outweighed by the wonderful staff, ALL of them, not just the odd one. The excellent evening meals and breakfasts, wonderful pool and decor in the public areas. Our room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. We booked late because we had been let down by Premier Inn, forget them, this is the only place we will stay when visiting Paisley, which is often
“Perfect overnighter near the airport”
Great modern clean quiet hotel - good restaurant and pub attached. 10 minutes from the airport. Too bad it is so far out of the City, but we used it for an overnight before catching the plane, and it was perfect for this.
“Great Place to Stay”
We were very happy with the hotel and the staff. Everyone was very kind and freindly. They helped with any questions we had. We would recommend it to every one.
“Good Value for money”
The Hotel is comfortable, staff are friendly and helpful. It is slightly remote but it was only a short drive to old Kilpatrick Railway station by Taxi. From there you can travel all around the city very inexpensively by train. Views of the river and surrounding countryside are lovely. Some of the hallways / communal areas required updating but I believe that maintenace is about to take place there. The room its self was very nice and at a low price for the quality. The Breakfast Buffet was very good with a range of options for all. Free transfers on the hotel coach to and from the airport helped to keep costs down during my visit. I'd definitely stay there again.
“Coming back for more”
I know that there are problems with the hotel, but the staff are always helpful, and will be staying there again
“Great hotel! but so far from Glasgow City Center”
I loved this hotel. Everyone was so friendly! Food was good, staff was super friendly and helpful the only downfall is its a bit of a walk to the bus stop and then the bus is an hour long ride to Glasgow. Its not terrible but if your in a hurry and you don't have much money for a cab it can be a inconvenience.
