“Have used on various occasions”
Staff very accommodating as we turned night into day due to the reason for our stay was for Celtic Connnections events which finished around 4 am each evening.
“Great Glasgow Budget Hotel”
It's an older building, but in a wonderful part of town. The breakfast was great, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely stay there again!
“Surprisingly good”
I was a bit skeptical when I first saw the price, but read some good reviews on here that influenced my decision. Overall, I am very happy I stayed here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and you cannot beat a free breakfast every morning! I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a place that is affordable yet comfortable and safe, but would not recommend it to anyone looking for more than they advertise (i.e. more than just a private room and a breakfast). The only thing I didn't like was the hotel asks its guest to turn in their room key anytime they leave the property.
“Glasgow Treasure”
If you can live without a microwave and fridge during your stay this is the hotel to go to. Friendly and helpful staff, great rooms and a proper breakfast to start the day. Perfect location for shopping and sightseeing.
“will go back”
It is very convenient to shopping, food, buses, trains, etc. the breakfast is fantastic. I have stayed there 2 times now. theres no lift, so if you can't do stairs you should request a room on the first floor. they even booked some tours for us, and there is free wireless internet in the lobby with lots of nice sofa's and chairs.
“Convenient and Good Value”
My friend is elderly and not very mobile, there is no lift but the staff were extremely accomodating and moved him to a double room which was more accessible. Tops marks for willingness to be flexible. Efficiently booked a taxi for us. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel if you are on a fixed budget but want a clean and comfortable stay with an excellent breakfast
“Glasgow experience”
Nice hotel and polite staff.
“Accommodating & friendly”
The rooms were cozy and comfortable although the style a little outdated. Not a fan of shower curtains personally but big fan of the hot water and good water pressure. All of the staff were extremely helpful and gave excellent recommendations for anything we asked, particularly the bar/restuarant "The Butterfly & the Pig". We enjoyed our Glasgow experience.
“Great for a one night pit-stop”
The hotel was OK. Some rooms were really nice, some weren't so great but served their purpose. Breakfast was good, great selection. Location was great, walking distance from city centre but far enough out to avoid the night-time noise.
