“All future visits to GDL will be at this hotel”

This is the 3rd hotel I've stayed in during my visits to Guadalajara. It is by far the nicest room and has a great English speaking staff. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel is in a nice area of the city--just 3 blocks from the American Consulate, 1 block from Starbucks and 2-3 blocks from 7-Eleven and Dominoes Pizza. There are many fine restaurants in the area also. And the hotel is a short distance to the center of Guadalajara. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to visit GDL.

Great Location! Great Rates! Great Service! FREE PARKING!! Hotel is in the chapultepec area which is very very nice, cultured, quiet but lively. bars within walking distance, downtown about a 7 min cab ride, really close. Rooms were clean, and nice, no problems, good view. Hoping to go back!

“Friendly staff”

Very friendly staff made us feel welcomed.The breakfast was the worst I have ever had, no taste no flavor, simply looked horrible. Do not recommend the breakfast.

“Satisfactory plus”

The hotel was good. I also stayed at the Hotel Casino Plaza which was of comparable quality but much lower price. Most of the staff tried their best and were friendly but a couple could have been more helpful although they certainly were not rude.

It was a nice hotel, great location. Its by the nightlife zone, so it got a little noisy,.but thats OK, I was there for a fun time!

“Worth the Expedia price!”

Excellent staff and great location! I used to live in Guadalajara, and this neighborhood is one of my favorites. I was familar with this hotel before staying here, so I knew what I was getting into. The lobby is clean, somewhat upscale and comfortable, but the rooms could use a little updating. Nevertherless, for the price this is a nice place.

“If you don't speak Spanish, don't go!!!”

The duty "manager" at the reception really spoilt the stay. You queue patiently to wait your turn ... When it is your turn, at your 1st utter of English, he tells you to wait while he tries to busy himself in hope that you will go away ... Then when other guests approach him, he tends to them and leaves you waiting ... average waiting time 25 mins.

“Staying for weekend”

Well the location of the Hotel is perfect , close to everything amd easy to find , but unfortunately the hotel is old and no well maintened, but is worth for you pay , just make sure you don't stay for long periods of time

“Won't go there again!”

The hotel needs a facelift. The lobby has smoked mirrors everywhere and bad art. The elevators lurched when you arrived at the destination floor. The elevator to the parking garage was extremely dirty. The carpet in the halls and room was buckled and lastly the room only had 5 electrical outlets. We had to unplug lamps and such to recharge the computers, phone and small electrics. The pillows were lumpy and hard. The location was excellent, close to restaurants and stores.
