“Another great trip”
Very peacefull, just a great place to get away with good prices. Never a fan of any beach for swimming but relaxing and a enjoying the scenery really can't beat the price
“Great place to stay”
I've stayed at this hotel twice for 7 days in the past two months while I was working on my boat at the Marina in San Carlos. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are large, and the grounds are in excellent condition. It is in a beautiful location on the beach and there is a great pool and hot tub. There is one restaurant on site, there are a lot of places to eat about 5 km away on the main street in San Carlos. Also, the staff is very friendly. Please Note: This hotel has an absolutely "no pets" policy.
“:)”
I loved every moment there. I didn’t want to leave.
“Dive Trip”
I came across this hotel on a search. We go down to San Carlos quite often for dive trips. The room was spacious (we had a studio--least expensive room, actually about the least expensive hotel we've found in SC!), the bed was comfortable (single king), there was a very nicely appointed kitchenette with a full sized fridge, a rack on the patio for drying, and a line in the shower as well. We've stayed at most of the diver friendly hotels there and this one, by far, beats them all! It is about 4-5 miles from the marina, but well worth the short drive. All rooms have a beautiful ocean view. We were three days of diving and had a late check-out on Monday for which they didn't charge us extra. The staff was friendly and our room was tidied everyday. They do have a pool bar/restaurant but we didn't try it this trip. I did notice they come around and serve drinks and snacks around the pool. It would appear the beach would be good for shore dives, though there are short stairs to lug the equipment up and down. They do have a guy to help you with that if you tip him. We will certainly be returning!
“Love this place!”
Spent 7 nonconsecutive nights here while also living on our 23ft. sailboat. Staff exceptionally friendly, helpful, and accomodating. Even tried to help us learn Spanish. Everything from the pool to the free laundry area are well maintained and by our last day, felt like I was leaving a little part of our family! For us the location was great, but it is about a 5 minute drive to San Carlos and there aren't too many restaurants withing walking distance. The hotel has a very nice restaurant/bar, but they are closed on Thursdays. Would love to stay here again. We stayed in 3 different rooms during our 7 days and each had a spectacular balcony view of the ocean, courtyard, and pool!
“Beautiful sunsets”
I liked that rooms have a small kitchenette with all the implements. Personnel were kind and helpful. They have free dvd movies for you to watch. Free WiFi. Make sure to ask the maintenace person to heat the jaccuzzi water at least 30 mins. before you get in it. This is a very comfortable and relaxing hotel. I'd love to go back.
“San Carlos stay”
Location away from San Carlos center, but beautiful views and quiet. Could use a more American TV staions
“perfect place to get out from the crowd and enjoy romantic sunsets and beaches of sea of Cortez”
Beautiful setting and gorgeous view. Hotel is located toward the end of San Carlos on the waterfront. Short walk and you are in Saggy Peso, popular palapa bar on the beach. Also, short drive and you are in center of San Carlos where you can visit restaurant Bananas with very good food and service. All is reasonable priced. If you are there?, do not forget to say hello to local waitresses; Sandra, Esmeralda or Erica. They are wonderful. If you like just a drink, visit Ruby Wine Bar in the marina next to Marina Terra Hotel. Again say hello to Alexis, Lisa and Sonia. If you like to explore more than just town of San Carlos, hit the country side. The road where the hotel is located ends one mile further and you can walk for miles and miles along the sea and the edge of the mountains in the wilderness of Sonora. Excellent area for hiking, horseback riding or four wheeling or snorkeling.
“Sea Cortez San Carlos”
I think the price is too much for the hotel, and the beaches full with rocks, don´t very cool.
