This cruise ship's 1-night, 2-day itinerary includes the following: 1st Day (Hanoi to Bai Tu Long Bay): Check-in at Ancora Lounge at Sun Group Harbour by noon. Embarkation 12:30-1 PM. Cruise toward Bai Tu Long Bay, while having buffet lunch. From 3:30-4:45 PM, explore Vung Vieng floating village via row boat or kayak. Return to boat at 5 PM for optional evening activities, including spa, sunbathing, or beverage at the bar. Anchor at Cong Do for overnight. Cooking demonstration on the sundeck or restaurant at 6:40 PM. Dinner is served in the restaurant at 7:30. Evening activities include night fishing, spa services, drink service, or relaxation on the deck. Last day: After Tai Chi on the sundeck and light breakfast, visit Thienh Canh Son Cave. After check-out by 9 AM, brunch is served while the boat returns to Sun Group Harbor for disembarkation by 11 AM. The 2-night, 3-day itinerary includes the above, as well as the following: 2nd Day: After Tai Chi on the sundeck and light breakfast, transfer to a day boat to explore the Cong Dam area’s beaches by kayak or swimming. Return to boat for set menu lunch. At 3:30 PM, return to Ancora boat and views of sunset over Halong Bay. Cooking demonstration on the sundeck or restaurant at 6:30 PM. Dinner is served in the restaurant at 7:30-9 PM. Last day: After Tai Chi on the sundeck and light breakfast, visit Thienh Canh Son Cave. After check-out by 9:30 AM, brunch is served while the boat returns to Sun Group Harbor for disembarkation by 11 AM. Cruise itinerary and schedule are subject to change due to weather, tide levels, and operating conditions without prior notice. Swimming or kayaking excursions may be cancelled due to poor weather.
Guests must contact the cruise office 24 hours in advance of arrival with their passport information, birthday, and Visa expiry details to register with the Halong Bay Port Authority. A valid passport is required for all guests and must be presented at time of boarding. Children must board with their parents. Guests who are denied boarding for not presenting valid passports for inspection by police and port authorities will not receive refunds. Do not book with this company, it is a scam. I travelled to Ha Long bay to be told there is no cruise. Ancora refuse to give me a refund and Hotels.com cannot or will not help. I have been using Hotels.com for many years both business and please, they have lost my custom.

We did the two night cruise, the food was really good, had a lovely spacious room with large balcony and the staff were very attentive. However, would have preferred a more relaxed programme as there seemed to be a lot of activities to get through but that is perhaps a personal preference. Although we enjoyed the cruise we were on, it wasn’t the cruise we had booked, they changed us to another ship with a different itinerary without consulting us.

We got transferred to ancorna sister cruse Dynasty cruise. These were some of the best meals weve had in vietnam, the trip was well put together with cave tours and kayaking. Highly recommended!

It's a new hotel. We got upgraded to the deluxe room. The room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is good with Vietnamese and western food. Staff are very friendly and courteous, nothing is too much, we wanted to have massage and the hotel staff drove us there free of charge. They also arranged shuttle bus to Hanoi for us. There was an electrical problem that caused the power in the room to go off and on several times at night of our stay, they fix the problem reasonably fast and couldn't apologize enough for the trouble.
