The location and amenities on the resort are outstanding. Especially the outdoor pool area. The pool bar staff were very tentative and catered for our needs at all times. Excellent resort and highly recommended. 5 stars.

Before I booked I researched for many hours on the various cruise package environmental impact policies. Scarlett pearl have a waste management system and appear to be actively trying to reduce the negative impact on the area.

An incredible place to have visited. We actually extended our stay in ha Long Bay as we loved the tranquility of it after Hannoi. Definitely do the cruise, we just did a 6 hour day one which was a real highlight of our travelling experiences ever.

Better to do a cruise with transfer from Hanoi than stay in Ha Long City as it is quite touristy and often not close to harbour for cruises of the bay.
