“Excellent hotel - great, friendly and helpful staff.”
We had a great weekend stay here. The hotel is nice, breakfast was fantastic, with just about anything you want on offer. We even asked for gluten free bread, and although they didn't have it the first day, by the next morning they'd got it specially in for us! Great friendly and helpful staff.
“would love to stay again”
Great stay. Lovely room except squeaky floor breakfast good. Unfortunately my wife was taken ill but all staff were extremely helpful.Would certainly stay again.
“Great family stopover”
We were very satisfied with this hotel. It was perfect for a 1 night stopover with the kids.
“Would stay again..actually have”
I have had 2 stays in this hotel and enjoyed both. The first stay was a little tougher (no internet connection box, or cables) but the hotel night manager tracked down all the parts and resolved the issue quickly. The towels on the first stay also had some tattered areas (strings and some fraying) but they were changed out the first day and all was great afterward. I would stay in this hotel again. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is great (less than 2 minutes from the M3). A fantastic experience
“Great - worth every penny.”
Excellent room , great facilities , great price, pleasant and helpful staff. Cost only £5 more than Travelodge normally charge so was a bit hesitant but it exceeded all expectations and left the opposition standing. Restaurant and bar of excellent quality in house as well. We will definitely check this chain out for our next break - think the name Hilton always made us feel it was a bit pricey so never really considered it but on your website it was cheaper than the others for the night we required so we gave it a go - really pleased we did.
“Excellent Breakfast”
The breakfast was exceptionally good at this Hilton as it was actually hot. Normally the food at Hiltons is only luke warm. I'd go back to this hotel for the breakafast alone!
“HolidayInnBasingstoke”
I have been staying at this hotel for about 4 days two months ago and two days this time. Decided not to stay here any more due to it's expensive surcharge on Internet/wifi and tiny double bed. I almost fall off the bed one night. The room facing the street gets noisy in the morning rush hour as well.
“Good Value hotel for a quick stop over”
Ease of check-in was swift and receptionist very helpful, express check-out easy.Bar was pleasant, room comfortable and modern but little bits like doors /windows were all in need of an update! Didn't eat there so can't comment. All in all comfortable stay easy to get to from motorway links etc.
“Not impressed”
Food & drinks overpriced. Conflicting prices on their website, which is why I went to expedia!
