“Good hotel - would stay there again”

We stayed at the Raven Hotel the night before visiting the Boat Show in Southampton. We chose the Raven as it was extremely good value and within an hour's drive of Southampton. We had seen bad reviews for the hotel on other websites and so were a bit worried before we checked in. However, there was nothing to worry about - the room was large, clean and very comfortable and the hotel itself was very nice. Breakfast was excellent - lots of choice and the waiting staff were courteous and served us very quickly. We did not eat in the bar the night before, but we did have a drink - the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming in the bar. I would recommend this hotel and definitely stay there again if we visit the Boat Show next year.
