"This is a lovely spacious hotel, the room was clean and the hospitality tray well stocked. The location was convenient for town and the conference centre. There is good parking facilities but we felt it a shame that they charge guests for parking. The staff were all helpful and friendly. We had the breakfast and that offered lots of choice and was nice. We would return again as the positives outweighed the one negative."

"Room was very modern and clean - radiator heat and no AC made it a little challenging to control temp in springtime but with patience and open windows it was possible. Great bathroom & lovely tea/cookie setup. "

"We had an excellent stay at the Double Tree. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The hotel is also very welcoming to dogs which was great for us. The location is also good with a short walk to the centre of everything. We would stay again."

"The staff were extremely friendly and efficient and the decor stunning. The food was delicious and a very large and comfortable bed with a nice patio area attached to our ground floor room. We had a great overnight stay but do bring a dog friendly attitude if you sleep in a lodge type room and be aware of roadside location. That said, it was great value for money with a luxurious feel and we would highly recommend and hope to stay again. Good central location too. Well done the whole team!! Thank you."
