"We are on day 20 of a 30 day Asian vacation and fortunate to have the Amari for 7 of those days. Upgrade to the club level. It’s worth the extra money. The pool that is shown in the marketing is the club pool and only available if you upgrade. There are two other pools but neither of them are as nice as the club level pool. There is a happy hour every day with free food and drinks. In addition, there is a private gym and restaurant, only for club level members. The rooms are thoughtfully designed with plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Don’t worry about the buggies and getting around the property, we never waited more than a few minutes to get up and down the hill. For the money, the Amari is a home run. Luxury at the fraction of the cost in a similar property in the US. It’s a short walk in to town, or take a tuk-tuk for $6. There was always one waiting at the lobby. There are two other pools, an amazing Italian restaurant and room service was great. The people working here bend over backward to make sure everything is just right. Thank you Amari!"

"Open air lobby, ante room, cafe and bar (with complimentary coffee, tea and nibbles), designed with Thai themes and Sino-Portuguese structure. The fountain behind check-in is soothing and quiets the sounds of local activity. A few of the first floor appointments harken to a romantic era of travel. Stairways lead guests to 2nd floor guest rooms, accessible via communal areas (all under roof and open air. Yes, the guest rooms are air-conditioned! The Carpenter Room has French Doors opening to a small terraced area with cafe table and 2 chairs. The Memory at On On hits all the right notes to make your stay welcoming and memorable. The staff defines hospitality, and Little Phuket, the restaurant a block from the hotel, has the best Green Panang Curry!"

"Location on Kata Noi made for a relaxing stay. Mostly families, couples and singles, so no loud beach crowd. The beach was powdery white sand, the water inviting with 2 no-boat areas sectioned off for swimmers. Quite an array for the complimentary breakfast. Staff easily assisted with day trips and activities. Housekeeping staff is the best, making sure guests have everything they need. In addition to a gorgeous beach, there are a number of pools. Recommended!"
