"Definitely not a 5-star experience - we were initially assigned a room with a strong smell of mould; though we did manage to change rooms. The rooms themselves were very much unpolished, there was a deep hole in the sofa, and the sofa itself was stained. The bathroom was unfinished, with sealant being poorly applied throughout the bathtub. We also used the gym, which was subpar by even 4 star standards! The breakfast was good, and the pool was also good."

"Breakfast was extra but worth it; staff was very attentive; shower drain was clogged at our arrival but staff took care off it within a day; hallway carpet and room fixtures looked worn and dated, but room was otherwise nice and the view of the city was great; very helpful onsite tour scheduling; odd loud clicking and scratching above our room a couple of nights, but it was thankfully brief and we never found out what it was. I initially booked a standard double, and then upgraded to a junior suite the second night. The first room was nothing special and the bed was very uncomfortable, but the suite was really good and confirtable. The hotel has two quite nice restaurants and the pool is also really nice "
