I really loved this hotel! Everything was so well-organized, clean, and perfectly arranged. The staff were amazing – very skilled, friendly, and always helpful. I truly enjoyed the food, and the beach was super clean and relaxing. The rooms were spotless, and the room service was excellent and fast. Even the laundry service was great. We would have liked the access stairs to the beach to be properly maintained. I use a walking stick & the whole of the resort was totally accessible. Including the swim-up pool access room.

Sixth stay - great for couples and families

This is our sixth stay at katathani over 10 years. We have seen the resort change and improve over the years but the basic characteristics are the same: a very large resort along a beach which is almost predominantly used by hotel guests with a number of small restaurants and shops on the outside of the resort and 5 or six within the resort. We came originally as a couple and now we have three children and it is still brilliant.

This resort is beautiful! The grounds are very well maintained and the staff is exceptional - they are service focused and anybody is able to help with all of your needs. Our room was very clean with amazing views of the beach. There is an adult pool and multiple kid friendly pools. The beach was lovely and also very well maintained. Since it is on the west coast we were able to see some amazing sunsets! There are many different options for food and drinks and everything was reasonably priced. Highly recommend this resort!

Kathatani Beach Resort and Spa Hotel (1 and 2) covers such a large expanse of beach front that guests have the luxury of just lounging by their many lovely pools with an ocean view or at the actual large expanse of beach itself with an ‘exclusive beach’ feel to it. The hotel itself is clean and lovely—and the breakfast buffet is amazing!
