OZO is a new, clean very comfortable hotel. In fact the beds were the most comfortable we’ve slept on during our 3 month stay in SE Asia. The housekeeping staff is very efficient and completely cleans your room in the time it takes to eat breakfast. Also the fitness center is in good condition and adequate for a hotel gym. Our check-in experience was not so good though. Instead of accentuating the positives of the hotel the clerk spent all her time talking about the services not provided. She was quick to point out there is no luggage service, no room service, no airport shuttle, restaurant closes at 8:00PM, you must present a towel card to get a pool towel and if you lose the towel it will cost you 1000 baht. Also you must provide a $100 deposit and if you use a credit card for that you won’t be refunded until two weeks after check out. The hotel has two pools, both overrun by young children. Would suggest having one pool for adults and the other for children as there is no way for adults to relax by either pool as it is. Hotel has great potential if they would work just a little harder on making their guest feel welcome.
