"This is a wonderful gem of a B and B. Everything was lovely from the moment we were greeted at the door by Carol and Keith who are the most welcoming hosts. Keith took our luggage to our room and Carol provided a welcome pot of tea with her homemade jam and cream scones, which were delicious. "Attentive staff on reception and at breakfast in the restaurant. I am gluten free and they were very helpful- advising what cereals were available ( Scharr in individual packets). Most cooked breakfast items gluten free and I could order toast/ sausages separately by handing a card to waiting staff with my requirements. These then arrived within a couple of minutes. Perfect location for conference centre, right next to auditorium. Car park accessible via hotel lift. We would stay again. "

"Just had a great one night stay at the Belmont. The room was very clean and comfortable, as was the whole building. The kitchenette had everthing we needed and everything was in excellent condition. The pre-arrival information was comprehensive and was provided in a very friendly and welcoming way. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place, or to book again ourselves. Definitely worth 5 stars"

"Beautiful Hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Less than a mile from the showground so nice walk there and back.to events. Evening meal was outstanding as was breakfast the following morning. Our rooms where a great size but the only criticism I would have is that the room decoration was a little shabby however the cleanliness and furnishing where spot on."
