“A rural idyll with Steak Diane!”
The hotel is a gem! great location, views, staff, food and the rooms magnificent. The restaurant was good though lacked atmosphere as there were few guests dining. This was more than adequately compensated for by excellent and lovely singer Bonita, The facilities were generally good though the gym is very dated and we could not get some of the equipment to work. The hotel has made good use of the land they have with a number of jogging trails, even a short golf course though don't expect St Andrews! We loved it here, the pools were clean and a good temperature, the games room fun and in good order. The rooms were very comfortable, huge beds with choice of pillows, and lovely views over surrounding mountains. For me the hotel exceeded its 4 star billing, though, for some, the facilities may be a tad old fashioned and dated, For me they were just comfortable and familiar. I'd thoroughly recommend it.
“Can't wait to go back”
it was aplesnt place with warm welcom & all we need was provided fast with a smile.
“Very relaxing”
The room is really nice and the balcony is very relaxing. We booked the room for three and it was well prepared even though the mattress was from the stone age.
“Two day stay”
This is a slightly old fashioned but comfortable hotel. The bedrooms are a special delight and the balconies secluded and private. The garden view was superb. Dinner was excellent and the service similarly so.
“It's hotter in Hatta”
We stayed here at the beginning of the off-season, May. Very relaxing get-a-way from the hubbub of Dubai. The mountains in the background were breath taking compared to the mountains of buildings in Dubai. Staff was very friendly. Only drawback was when we sat on the balcony there was a motor somewhere that ran continously. Just ask to be in a quieter quarter. Hotel was built in 1987 and has that decor but very clean and well maintained. Look foward to going back again.
