“Very comfortable Hotel”

The Hotel had a fast and simple booking in, which we needed because we arrived late. Extremely comfortable and relaxed Hotel.

“Would go back”

Pleasant, clean hotel. Helpful staff. Room had a TV, a phone, an iron, a coffee maker and a minibar. Elevator required a key card to operate which made a solo traveler feel more secure. The only drawback would be the distance from downtown - about 20 min. walking or a few minutes by bus. Frequent buses and bus stop almost across from the hotel so did not really mind the distance. Shopping center with a large grocery store across the street.

“Parking problematic”

Close to downtown. Couldn't park at the hotel garage. Had to park illegally nearby.

“Warm, practical - good for Helsinki winters.”

Not a luxury hotel - but clean, compact and uniform (so no cold and drafty rooms, no rooms situated down an endless set of corridors). Annoyingly they now charge for wifi. Restaurant is a bit pricey and the food can be too salty - the Meritati next to Amsterdam bar by the subway is good though.
