"Appeared to be brand new. Very clean and nice. The hallway is kinda echoey, which I was worried about but once it was sleep time I didn't hear a sound. The lamps by the bed were tied to the light switch and a stand lamp in the corner. I couldn't figure out how to turn the stand lamp off independently, which meant I had to use the switch by the door, which also killed the usb's on the lamps. So my phone/alarm charged on the desk. Again, not a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. Was a solid stat"

"This hotel has charm for sure! If you enjoy unique hotels and history, then you'll probably appreciate this hotel. Easy walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and town square. Staff was welcoming and kind! However, my husband and I ended up very uncomfortable all night and didnt get much sleep. There are a few things that i think can realistically be improved upon , even with the limitations thag an old building poses. The ac is positioned maybe about 6 inches from the side of the bed. The person sleeping there would get blasted with cold air in the face. The ac units are window mounted...either the ac should be moved or the bed. In the middle of the night I woke up sweating head to toe because the ac stopped blowing cold air. It seems it froze over. The bed sheets were SO scratchy and didnt breathe well! Ugh! The bed was decent...not the worst mattress I've slept on. I wanted to love this place because it really is very cute...but I wont return due to how uncomfortable we were. "

"Checked us in around 1130pm, staff was very friendly and quick. We did not know check out was 11am and left about 11:18 with the staff being very respectful and understanding. "
