"It was fantastic to stay in such a beautiful old home. The rokms are bright in the moring due to not having blinds, but i assume that is in keeping with the historic nafire of the house. It is still well worth staying in this place!"

"Close to tram line stations and the peace park. Good wifi and AC (very important when the heat index is 105F/42C). The cafe doesn’t open in the morning, so you’ll have to grab breakfast elsewhere. "

"For those who use JR pass, exiting to hotel is by unmanned gate, but I've been using it by showing the pass at the camera on the ceiling without any problems. The stayed was good and only problem with it does not have from others is little bedside curtain for individuals privacy and bidet toilet. Railway line is good as it goes pass Hiroshima station to the east without changing train."

"The host was really nice and gave me an intro in the best English he could manage. My dorm had its own toilet and shower to use between 6, with two more of each outside of the room. Everything was very clean, my only criticism is that I was very hot during the night. There was aircon, but it seemed to only fan hot air half of the time and cold air only occasionally. "

"The hostel was close to the port and the staff were all every nice. They know the area well and had made great recommendations"

"Near train station which was nice. Is harder to find as it is inside of an overhang off the street. Once you find it its easy to navigate to as near main dinning and shopping area. I went during a slow time of year, but got a little street noise but not much. Good outlet and mini area for luggage. I had 3 bags (size of airplane carry on) and all fit under bed. In summer, the sleeping area might get a little stuffy as no vent, but if you have a mini fan this shouldnt be an issue. Receptionist...

"呉駅から徒歩10分かからない程度、2階に漫画喫茶、3階に赤ビル温泉入ったビルの4階。 宿泊者は無料で3階の赤ビル温泉に入浴可能。 潜水艦をモチーフにした艦内は呉らしさがあって楽しい。ベッドは普通のドミトリー形式のもので、特に不自由なく宿泊できた。 館内（艦内）着は有料なのでそこだけ注意。"

"It was well organized and very clean. There was a nearby onsen I took a bath at so I didn't use the shower. But they had a blow-dryer, cotton pads, and cotton swabs. They also have small lockers for you to put your valuables in. I stayed only for a night but the quality of the service and accomodation made me wish I stayed for longer. I only wish the pillow was softer since I had come back from a long hike. Otherwise no complaints here. "

"The host Kaito san, is very helpful and was ever ready to help us with our queries/problems, etc. The place is pretty new and the rooms are therefore clean and bright. No towels are provided though, and the host should consider providing it as part of the amenities."

"I can only comment on customer service as the recent Typhoon prevented us from traveling. They really take their no cancellation policy seriously and will not even give you a refund in the case of a natural disaster preventing you from traveling. Extremely unimpressed by this place and would not recommend booking with them. Took them 5 days to even respond to my cancellation request."
