"Very warm welcome on reception and at the bar. Immediately felt very relaxed after a 270 mile trip from the south of Iceland which whilst stunning, is an epic journey. Bedroom very comfortable and good shower amenities although shower curtains a little bit strange in the shower enclosures. Coffee pod machine was very well stocked with supplies and nice big cups, but, to get them to fit I had to remove the drip tray. No big deal. Breakfast was excellent with some hot options too and a very friendly welcome. Stayed here 2 nights and very comfortable indeed. "

"Great little place to stay with access to a kitchen and a good breakfast included. Rooms were clean and cosy. All you need and just a few minutes drive away from Húsavík. Staff are very friendly and helpful."

"This was one of the most anticipated stops along our road trip. We were only able to stay one night due to availability but we would have loved to stay longer. The place was very quiet, peaceful and romantic. The space was mindfully designed and very visually appealing. I can tell the owner out a lot of thought into the interior design. The heated floors + heated towel rack made the place even more cozy. We enjoyed the stars in the jacuzzi but unfortunately didn’t see the northern lights that night (although I’m sure it is a great place to see them when they are out). The only downside was some of the pots were covered in food from previous guests. All of the plates, cups and silverware were spotless though."

"The Langvatan Guesthouse was the nicest stay so far during our past 8 days in Iceland. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. The common dining area was very cozy and warm. The washrooms were spacious and clean. The rooms were simple and small, but that's all you really need at night. The breakfast was DELICIOUS! So many options to choose from. They also offered dinner, if we hadn't eaten dinner already, we would've had dinner here as well. Overall,100/10 would recommend & would stay again."
