“Our View”
Very basic lodging, which was all I was looking for on this trip. A little weak on the breakfast but it was passable.

Nice and cozie
“Clean and quiet.”
Clean, large, quiet room with all appliances working. Grocery store close by. Continental breakfast is skimpy. Your choice of an apple, orange and plain bagel only.

Clean & roomy rooms. Very good access to interstate and shopping centers.
“Hotel stay in Columbia SC”
The location was excellent, room was great for family.
“Trip to SC”
The hotel reeked of smoke and there were people smoking in the elavators. We were supposed to be in a no smoking room but the no smoking rooms were being used by smokers.
“Not impressed”
Reserved 2 rooms and told them that we would be arriving late in the night. When we got there the doors where locked, ring the door bell multiple times, no one at the front desk to answer it. Called the hotels phone, no one answered, luckly someone who was staying at the hotel was going in and we got inside then, only after we waited 15 min outside in the rain and cold. When inside we finally found someone who worked there, they got us checked in. We went to our rooms which had the tv on, the beds unmade, dirty towels in the floor. Called front desk, no one there again. Walked down there and found the same woman who apologized and then found us new rooms. The new rooms where better, but after traveling for 7hrs and wanting to rest so that you can drive 7 more hours to our destination we where not impressed by this hotel!! Will not stay there again!!!
“Not till they call an exterminator”
Asian cockroach in room made me consider leaving all my possesions behind.
“Not a good choice”
The lovely exterior of this hotel is misleading. The interior condition is gloomy and depressing. The hallways ,elevators and rooms are musty and do not feel clean and crisp. The room amenities are practically non existent. The kitchenette is antiquated and when they painted the room they left overspray even on the dirty coffee pot. While the desk staff was very nice and called to check if all ok- why complain its not their fault my room is like being in a dungeon.I booked for a week but will go to the aggrevation of repacking to change hotels. You can't get coffee until 630 am which for me doesn't work and no one is on the desk between 11pm and 7 am. The carpeting in the halls and room is dirty and makes me feel like there might be someting living in it. The fridge hummed all night and kept me awake as well. Definately not a good choice for extended lodging.
