The staff was so very kind and easy to work with. The meals were splendid and dining outdoors to candlelight in the evening was pure perfection. I only wish we had stayed longer! "

"We were in Kakamega for work and during the weekend we moved to Rondo. This is a lovely and peaceful place, with an enchanting park were it is possible to see monkeys and listen to the songs of a variety of birds. We appreciated a lot the meals (I've asked for vegetarian meals and they was excellent) and the tea with a delicious piece of cake in the afternoons, taken directly to our small but beautiful cottage, despite the rain."

"This is a typical guesthouse. It has a warm and friendly staff and a nice property. They will go out of their way for you! But typical for a guesthouse, you must leave your key when you go out. Bring your own shampoo, etc, and hair dryer."

"Peter was an excellent host! He took great care of me and made sure I had everything I needed. There was an unexpected change to an alternate location instead of the guest house location that I booked which was a little confusing on arrival. Luckily I did not miss the pool. Meals served were very good and much appreciated. Food prices were not disclosed in advance but were reasonable. Peter made my stay enjoyable!"

"Really enjoyed our time in this house! The cooks were fantastic, service was great and the overall experience made for a great week of vacation. There were some repairs/upkeep pieces that would be helpful but overall nothing major. The only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is the marketing is a bit misleading. It says that 12 people can fit in what we paid/booked. It shows pictures for ALL the properties on VRBO but you are only renting a portion which is not only unclear but misleading and...
