“A jewel in the crown”
The HHI has exceeded its previous record of being the most hospitable, freindly and professional hotel in Kolkata during my recent stays. I was not only allowed to check-in as early as 08:00 am and chech-out as late as 04:00 pm, but was also up-graded to a better room. The staffs paid a remarkable attention to my needs of bottled water to clean towels. The breastfast was supposed to be buffet, yet the restaurant staffs brought every dish to my table and in the correct sequence, bravo.

Great location in Kolkata - although not really worthy of all five stars. Excellent and helpful staff, despite some unresolved issues with weak water pressure.

“Old Glory Fades Away....”
HHI used to be a great hotel at one point in time but certainly not up to the mark anymore. Though the hotel just underwent a renovation, however it falls sadly very short of what is available in the market today.

HHI has a good location but is badly in need of an upgrade. The decor in the rooms is old and worn, bathroom and bathroom fixtures are also old and in disrepair. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but I would not recommend this hotel. On the positive side, they have a very good restaurant that serves a fabulous breakfast buffet (my breakfast was included in the rate).
“Nothing could be Worst than this !!!!!”
Nothing to say here............................ when everything is so very lousy from the facility to people who manage and run the hotel. Have not seen such indifferent, impersonal ,discourteous set of management in any Hotel in the world.....Terryfying experience in every respect !!!!!!!
