“Spectacularly Average”

We stayed at this hotel some years ago and were reasonably content. This visit we elected to have a refurbished room. the room had clearly been refurbished and was certainly comfortable. It was only towards the end of our stay that we noticed a LARGE cobweb which had clearly been there for sometime. Breakfasts were the usual continental style with plenty of choice. We chose to eat in the restaurant on one occasion and found the food plentiful but fairly average. The remainder of the rooms and the internal corridors could certainly do with some cheering up. Pros; The pool area and the public areas were well maintained and clean. Free car parking, helpful friendly staff, evening entertainment. Cons; Internal corridors need cheering up, No wireless internet access. Summary; could do better.
